Missed call from 606 239 8989, so called back, got busy signal.

Got the call too,I'm in 504 area code...immediate hang up, no message.

Got a call from the number on my cell and didn't pick up.

I forgot to mention my cell phone provider is Verizon.

I am a bilingual person and when i got the call the message said " you have won 500 dollars to receive this money please push #1 button on phone " something to that effect in spanish and of course I did not press one because I do Not gamble so my guess is this is a scam .

I am also in a 608 area code. I got a call from this number on my cell around noon today (5/28). I missed the call & no message left. Wife just tried to call it and was a recording saying all circuts were busy!! Looked and was in Moorehead, KY. What's this a new thing and how do they get your cell #? Have to see if it happens again.

606-239-8989 has called us twice staring yesterday. My area code is also 301, they left message. My spanish is a little off, but I understood it for the most part. The message says" If you want $500.00 to spend press 1 now". I didn't press anything because I don't trust things like that. I hope I was able to help, if anyone finds out more please let us know. they called at about 7:05 today and yesterday

Recieved a call a day for the past two days to my cell phone in the 214 area code from these people with a spanish recording and when i try to call back it's busy - lame? what is this thing?

I also received a missed call from the same number 606-239-8989 today.  But earlier in the day I received a long distance call from another number 786-486-4635 and it was a spanish recorder.

A few weeks ago, I kept getting calls from a long distance # (sorry didn't keep the # on hand) & when I called it back I heard spanish speaking people in the background and they hung up on me twice when I tried to inquire as to why they kept showing as missed calls on my phone.  So I reported the # to d Verizon.  They had a spanish speaker from Verizon call the number for me and were told it was a spanish speaking company out of Florida saying they were selling health insurance.  

Why are all these spanish calls coming from various states?  Be careful, might be a scam.

Call came at 7:08 P.M. CST.

Just got this call, googled the number to find out what it was. I'm in 972 area code. This sounds mighty creepy.

I just got a call from that number to Weired thing is some people just tryed to do a internet scam on me yesterday! watch out!!

Just got a call from this number, spanish recording like everyone else - the area code I'm in is 630, so this isn't just isolated to one area.

WTF same here im in 608 area code with an unlisted private number only given out to customers no one else and definitely not over the internet.

ohyah.. i'm in the 608 area type region, so I thought a kentucky call was strange o_O forgot to mention

I got a call around 10:15 but I didn't pick it up and they didn't leave a message. My phone just said it was from Kentucky. No clue what they wanted ^_^

I just pickup a call from this number 6060-239-8989. Anyone knows what the recording is talking about? Hope I won't get charged for.

got "da call" didn't pick-up..no message.  my area code is also 240 like a lot of other folks...It has to be a random generator but focused on tx, md, ky!

Got call from 606-239-8989  - no caller ID

I just got a call from this number -- all spanish, sounded almost computer generated. After it was done talking I waited, nothing happened so I pressed a few buttons and waitied... nothing.

I'm a Dallas 972 area code.

Reading all the responses here, everyone seems to be getting this in the last few hours... spooky.
