Danny Morrison called me the same saying I had a lawsuit against me, and a warrant out for my arrest.
I asked what agency he was. He said "Nathan & Dorris & Associates) I asked him to spell it out could not understand him because of his heavy accent) and he spelled Dorris "DORRES" when i asked him if it was "e" or "I" he assured me it was an "E" that's when i decided to look up "Nathan & Dorres" but nothing came u except only for "Nathan & Dorris"  I also looked up his name and he was using a famous person's name. His accent did not sound like his name was Danny Morrison.  called from number 347-625-5448

Same here I had the loan company harassingm
e to get a loan. Didn't sound legit. Why would I have to pay to get money? When "Danny Morrison" called he said the company was suing me for fraud and the cops wwould be at my house tomorrow. I called the company to settle it with them. They asked for a $125 green dot money pack. I paid them that said that would calle back. No call and mo answer all night. Next day I got a call from Danny again saying I owed him for fees I hung up. They got me once. I have seem so many scams exactly like mine. I feel so dumb, I was scared he told me I was gunna go to jail. So I gave in. :(

i paid these people 1000$ to pay a debt and they told me the person i paid it to stol it for personal use and i still had to pay or lose my job and be arrested i then saw on the internet it was a scam

Have gotten several calls from these Individuals telling me I have falsified documents and that I owe them $1000 or I will go to jail.  Wished me the "best of luck."

I also recd a call from Danny Morrison...But they say they r from the Kentucky Law Office. They said that they will proceed with criminal proceedings. Bank Fraud, Check Fraud, Check disception, etc. They said I owed 391.00 When I never took out a payday loan from these people ever...They gave me a name of the payday place but I forgot. lol But When I said I never took out a loan with these people...they said forget the name its not important...Just pay us and we will pay them...I told them this wasnt me and I was a victim of Indentity theft...What should I do?? Im scared...I definatly dont want to go to jail ever.

They called my phone but when he called me his name was john marshall its a scam.

They're scammers - let your HR dept or manager know you're being harassed by scammers from India (print this page of complaints if you want and give to HR).  There is no lawsuit, and yes, if the debt was legitimate, you could most certainly contact the original creditors.  There is no felony charges for not paying a loan back; they're full of BS.  Report them to the FTC, the FBI and your state's Attorney General.  You may also wish to put fraud alerts on all your bank accounts and with the three credit agencies (Experian, Equifax and TransUnion).

Whatever you do, do NOT pay them!  Let them know they've been reported and also tell them that the FBI is monitoring and recording all calls from them to you (they won't know they're not).  Don't let them upset you; their whole scam is to make people so afraid, that they pay for bogus debts.

Yes a middle eastern man called me on my birthday stating I will be sued & warrant is out for my arrest. I was told not to contact the lenders I dealt with & I can only speak with them because due to the lawsuit communication has been ceased.  They contacted my job. They stated it would be a felony charge for 750.00 loan that was fraud.

this all people are a big scam.... harassing us and asking for money.... they all are stupid thinks that we will be easily paying money to them if they harrass us.... they all are stupid specially that travis hall, thinks he is smart enough... but he is a very big scam.....

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

I received a call at work from Danny Morrison saying it was urgent that I call back (my boss took a message). When I call back, I am told by "Travis" with a very thick Middle Eastern accent that I have a case against me, but he refuses to provide me any details, saying I don't need to know anymore than he tells me, but that I will be served a complaint and arrested at my office on Monday morning. He hung up on me when I insisted he provide details of said complaint. I called back and the line rang then went to a busy signal. I called from our second office line and spoke with someone else, with the same results. The scary part is, they have the last four digits of my ss#. I filed a complain on the FTC website that is linked in previous comments, and also contacting the Attorney General's office to file a complaint.

It might be possible to block calls from this number.  Ask your phone provider how.

If he's calling your cell phone put his number in your contacts list and assign it the ring tone "no ring".  That won't stop the calls but it will make them easier to ignore..

Stop answering the phone when he calls.  If you accidentally answer, hang up on him immediately.

This mr Lewis called me from this number and to,d me that I would go to jail for 30 days to10 years if I didn't pay him 168.00 ....he said I had a criminal lawsuit pending for wire fraud, check fraud, and bank fraud. He was rude and said my life is in his hands and if I pay he will make it go away. I just hung up on the a** ...please report this company  Collins and baker law firm to the FCC , the more complaints they have they will make sure they don't scam anyone and threaten someone that don't know any better.

Got a call from this number today claiming to be a lawfirm, some middle eastern guy who could barely speak english, named Adam Smith and apparently I need to pay $654.12 before midnight tonight or I will be arrested. They say I got a loan from Cash America, which I never did, and they are sueing me. Please be aware that this is a scam. I never received any type of loan from anyone. They have now called me 5 times within the last hour and my place of employment twice. I just filed a claim with the FTC and put fraud alerts on all my accounts. I am sure they will continue to harrass me. Does anyone have any other suggestions as to what else I can do to protect myself from these a**holes????

Got a call from this number same description as everyone else, he sounded drunk or something slurring his words. Wish there was something that could be done, I tried blocking his calls but he manages to get through each time. I've never heard of him before or owe them any money and have no idea how he got my phone number..

I have had this number 606-687-5726 calling me for the past 3 days while I am at work. Tonight when they called I answered and much to my surprise it was a middle eastern man whom he goes by Danny Morrison attorney for Collin & Baker Legal Associates. He states that I have taken out a loan which he can not give me a date as to when but goes on to say that I will be arrested at my job on Tuesday 5/29/13. They say I owed a company American Cash which I have never heard of a odd amount of 886.23. So when I started asking more and more questions he got angry and gave me over to someone else. When they go to transfer your call they are just hitting the key pad and handing the phone to someone else. Please don't pay them a dime. You need to file a complaint with the FCC and also do not give them any further information about yourself or your job.

this guy called my phone and said that he has my case and there going to pick me up for fraud i'm like i didnt get any loans and nobody is going to pick me up so i told the guy i was going to trace his ip address and give it to law enforcments im tired of them hassling me and they need to be stoped

I have received two phone calls from phone number 6066875726 at my place of employment with an accent saying that I need to call him back about a very important matter and said if I didnt call him back he wishes me luck as my fate is in my hands. He was very threatening and quite creepy. He said that I would be arrested at my job or home on Wednesday, unless I paid $10,000.

I just posted about the 606-687-5726. I for got to post that the first person I talked to. Waz a guy that could barely understand he ended up puting a girl on the phone that also has an accent.  She said he name was Erica Perkins. When they called it only says the number annd that its comeing from Kentuckey. I have an app on my phone that it called reverse lookup and it tells me that the number is unlisted that it found it on line and it says it a lawfirm debt collector.

I received a call today from 606-687-5726  today with them tellin me that I had a loan that I never took out. That the loan company wanted to file charges and I would be arrested if I didn't get it takein care of and they refused to give me any information anbout it. I received several threatening calls today from this number 606-687-5726. They claimed to be Collins & Baker Law Firm and that I owed them money. I don't know these people and how they got my number, please block them and stop them! I believe they often target the elderly as well. Thank you.

Now claiming to be Frank Newman, they have called my business line 4 times asking for one of our employees.  I am getting tired of these guys bothering me at work. I know it's a scam and I have told them that but they keep on calling. I have reported them to the FTC.

I have received two phone calls from phone number 6066875726 at my place of employment yesterday danny morrison left a message expressing my need to call him back & if not he wishes me luck.  Then last night I receive another phone call from the same number and they also left me a message from the same person again the person with a heavy accent tried really hard to pronounce each word to let me know if I did not call the number back I will be in a lawsuit & he wish me luck because he could not help me later.  

Thanks for the info Alfalfa & have notify all three credit reporting agency & I will now notified the FTC.
