just got the call but the caller id was V61713465300147.
i answered the phone but didnt response and they hung up.
I think his name is Jonathan and he has a cheerful artificial voice.

Why do people post that they don't know who called. Unless you have informatiom, why post?

Repeated calls with no message. When answered, no one on other end. Blocked.

I answed it and in a real low voice I said...it's done, but there is so much blood...that ought to give them something to think about...lol

Just happened to me-scary because they had all my credit card into and said the same-"lower my interest rate" bs.  When I said I was going to call me credit card number to confirm they hung up.  Cancelled the card.  Cheeze....nothing is safe anymore!  Thanks for posting this info.

Thanks so much for your detailed info.  Received a call from the 607 area code number and didn't answer.  We're on the "Do Not Call" List, so I don't know how people are getting away with this.

This number showed up on my phone: 607-203-5517, checked google on this number to verify. thank you for confirmation on your website that it is a scam and from ny area.
I NEVER answer ANY numbers NOT in my contact list in my phone.
And I NEVER call back. Once you call back they have freebees without you knowing it.
PLEASE be Aware, don't risk calling back. Just report unknown for preventiveness and you will be safe.

Received call from number. Automated response said they wanted to lower my credit card payments. Pressed 1 to talk with a rep. I asked which credit card they were referring to. Rep listed off several companies. I then told her that it was funny because I have no credit card, so this must be a scam. She then told me that this was "NOT A SCAM, I DID NOT ASK YOU FOR ANY INFORMATION." I said not yet - but then asked which company she was from. She told me to "SHUT UP!" and hung up on me. This is a scam.

This number called me - I pressed "1" to talk to a representative. I asked which credit card they are referring to. The rep then listed off several companies. I said 'I do not have any credit cards so this is a scam." Rep then proceeded to chew me out and told me to "shut up!" Seriously, that was bizarre. I tried asking what company she was part of and she would not say. Scam!

Got a call from this number ( 607-203-5517 ) - caller ID says Binghamton NY.  Two calls with in a minute.  No one was home and our number is non published.  Reported it to the DNC registry and contact TWC (phone carrier).  Turned number into my agency for tracking purposes.  

Take note people, never give out personal information over the phone to anyone.  Most companies that you do business with will ID themselves and ask for you by name.  If in doubt, ask them something that company alone will know about you.  Turn the tables on these types of scams.

Got the call (on my cell phone, gah!), with the nice robot lady's voice offering to lower my credit card rates, etc.

Got the same call but didn't answer. Be careful when some one ask you to press 90# from your phone!! Friend sent this info!! Scary that this could happen if you press 90#!!!

I have received a call from this number, does not leave a voice mail.    I have a cell phone and it is registered with the do not call list.   How did they get this number!!!!!!!!

Rec'd a call on my cell.  No message left.  Everyone on this site says the call was from NY. hmmmmmmm  I was just in NY a few weeks ago.  I wonder if my phone was tampered with while visiting.  I'll report to the FCC.  The more reports the FCC receives the better the investigation.
