Craigslist post with this phone number 607 218 5974 is a scam. He is using our pictures from VRBO.com and HomeAway.com, both legitimate vacation rental websites, and posting it on craigslist. Both his postings on Craigslist are bogus. The pictures of those properties are high end vacation rentals. He copied and pasted from legit websites and priced them at 1/10th the rate. We have reported this scam to the proper authorities. PLEASE BEWARE!

i saw this same add. he said that he has two different locations. he quoted me a price on one for 13 nights @ 50 per night for $1300 ? the math just doesnt add up. did anyone find out if this is a scam ?

I found a post on craigslist with this same number today for a villa in Hawaii for $100 a night for a 2br/2ba 2,000 sq ft. The map that is posted in the listing has an incorrect location and the pictures look like a staged resort photo. Looks too good to be true.

Becca- If there is ANY mention of "Western Union", or any kind of wire transfer of funds, it is 100% a scam. Remember, it is CASH, & can be collected anywhere in the world. Also, go online & web search the property. Sometimes scammers use properties that are for sale in their scam, or they use other peoples rentals. If you see the same property in 2, or more ads, from 2 different people, there is a problem. I do want to tell you that this really sounds like a Nigerian scam - the rental price is just too low. Think & check each step.

Just checking on this number. He says his name is James, he sounds foreign. He has a craiglist add for a condo in Hawaii for $50 a night. I'm just a little nervous if he is legit. Sounds "too good to be true"
The type of call is just a guy renting a condo.
Just wanted to know if you had any negative info on this number...thanks for your service.
