I received a text from this number that sai "hey LaShawn???" When I text back asking who it was I did not get a response... Weird

First I got a phone call, they said nothing for a few seconds. Then hung up. I thought huh, wrong number .Right away I got a text that said Hi. I had someone try use my credit card info after shopping the day before I got that text. A week later I got a text that said Hi Marti. I texted back "Hi yourself. Who is this?" No reply. I had my credit card information stollen again after shopping the mall the day before this last text also. They ran my card up $900. before someone called me to verifiy an order I DID NOT PLACE. I wonder if this is connected? I canceled my credit card again! NOT COOL! Very Creepy!!!!!!!
