I received a call 9/12/2013, in my office number. he said he is a police. looking some one related with drug.
i said come in my store. i will call police.

They called at 7:04 pm on March 13, 2013 but did not lv a message. If, as stated, they call to supposedly raise money for police benefit for kids, then they should be investigated by someone from law enforcement.

1st call early Saturday morning 8:30 am, I did not answer it. Called back Monday at 3:30 pm I still did not answer it. I did a callback to the number and there's some type of recording can't make it out as my hearing is not good.

Called on 11:30 on a sat morning asking for donations.
Something about donating to keep kids off the streets.
Asked for 25 dollars. I can also request documents on what the money would be used for and it's public records or something.
It seem to be leigt.

Called at 8:30 on a Sat morning asking for my husband. When I said he was unavailable they hung up. did say he was from NY Assoc of Chief of Police. Probabaly looking for $$. Annoying to have people call so early on the weekend.

Telemarketing is expensive. A typical charity donation telemarketer keeps 60-70% of every donation to cover the cost to make the calls. Police and fire department charity callers are much worse, often keeping 95% or more.
NEVER donate to someone over the phone. If you want to make a donation find a snail mail address and mail them a check. That way the charity keeps all of the money you send.

Keep asking for my husband and won't talk to me. Calls on weekends and wakes up my kids. Hangs up when I tell them I'm not my husband.
