Just got a call from 1-607-562-8715. I answered the call then they hung up. There has to be a way to stop these idiots from invading my privacy. I'm on the do not call list so I'm wondering if that list is a farce. So tired of these scammers.

I got same call claiming someone accessed my info in china.Didnt trust him indian acccent.

This scam number sure has a long life. Just a nuisance. Got a 9am call this morning in Toronto from them. Like many posters, I couldn't understand what they were saying so I said "not interested, goodbye" and hung up. I wouldn't have fallen for their scam in any case.

Just received a call from this number. Judging from above posts. must be that Microsoft scam from India.

Got the same call...i'm on no call list,so when i see funny numbers i answer with this line...I killed her and him like you told me to , don't call me anymore because they have my line tapped and they will know you had me kill them and I WANT MY MONEY FOR DOING THE JOB FOR YOU!

Yup, as soon as i heard awful background noise, and an Indian accented man asking if I spoke English, and proceeded to tell me he's from Windows?i cut him off and said i'm not interested and please do not ever call back. It's the third time I had the same call; not clear if it was the occurring number.

I told them I was a cop and that I was going to make it my weeks goal to f$& k there lives up!

Do not call list is a joke. The callers make more scamming people than the fine is IF they are ever caught. Do you see anything in the news about them getting caught and fined? It is all a joke, just don't answer if you do not recognize the number. They will leave a message if important. I run into a lot of them like "last notice to lower credit call debt" I get so many 'Last" notices and they spoof caller ID so many different numbers with the same recorded message.

Tried to get remote access to my computer.  Called four times from 4 different numbers.   607-562-8715, 631-621-0001, 518-399-9915, and 512-453-9341.  Put them all on my call blocker.

Who ever is calling me at my land line best u quit now ! I do mean now !  I have no clue as 2 who u are besides the fact u never said anything just listened which is a no no! Then u had the nerve  2 call back like  shame n u ! If u don't talk!

Getting calls a couple of times a day for the past week or two. I don't answer or have not been available.
Caller id says either New york or general revenue, both from #607-562-4220.

Just got this call from this number and said he was a certified mircosoft tech and that if i didnt do what he said my computer was gonna crash. very heavy indian type of accent. Got upset when i told him i didnt trust him and all he would say was ma'am.

Got this call on 05-22-13. Caller ID: York New. I did NOT answer the phone. These nutwipes call about every day, using different numbers. The other day one called (again, I did NOT answer) and the Caller ID: 000-000-0000. I mean, seriously. Why do I feel that if the world were nuked, these idjits would still be calling/scamming?

Just got a call from this number but I didn't answer I found it strange that I was receiving a call from USA when I'm all the way in England ! Very strange, where the hell did they get my number ???

This number was on my caller id when I returned home. There was no message just the number and caller id said it was from a pay phone. SO tired of running to the phone so I always have my answer machine on and screen my calls. Is there a way to get them to stop? Would the "do not call list" help to stop these people from this number from calling or do they just call random numbers and just "work" for themselves?

HAD A FEW CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER - NEVER PICKED IT UP - WORRIED IF I DO I MAY BE CHARGED FOR THE CALL

Got a call from this number yesterday, and another number (607) 735-0885 yesterday.  You can do your research and find out that calls from both of these numbers are foreigners with mostly Indian/Pakistani accents, claiming to be from Microsoft.

I also got a phonecall today with vague questions about my computer. I hung up.

I got a call from York New number 607-562-8715. a man with a heavy accent, could not understand him. He asked for my husband who does not use the computer, stated the computer was sending virus. Told him there is not computer in house, then he said it was from a lap top. No laptop here. I told him not to call again, he said he will call back every hour. then he said he was joking. This is very strange.

microsoft # is 1-866-727-2338. Have used their services many times and VERY satisfied

told him i had a mac and no windows software and he called me a liar

i got a call today at 800 pm asking for me from government dental someone is selling your information the calls are from out of country using a payphone witch is odd because there not really any payphone left
