How long has this NYSEG company been calling people. I see others that posted last year. Anyway, they have called me 37 times so for since mid April 2014. This should not be allowed. This is harassment. I have answered several times to tell them to remove me from their list. But it doesn't matter. What can I do about it?

Just called me asking for person in charge of electric bill, Claimed to be calling from NY Gas and electric, said he wanted to save me some money and told me to go ahead and grab my electric bill acct number. I told him Im not F******** Stupid and to not ever call me again

Yea just ignore them, thank goodness for answering machines. People trying to make a living scamming information If you don't know em then don't call em. Written notices will get sent to you if your bill isn't paid. Many of these folks calling nowadays are just fishing for something. They usually will go home when nothing is biting.

I keep getting phone calls from this number, sometimes they leave no message;however, just 5 minutes ago I received a call from this same number, and a guy just said you did not pay your electric bill. Well I paid my electric bill this week,so I knew something was up. Is there any site that we can go to too block that number from call us again. If I see crazy numbers on my phone,either from bath, ny , nj, or any other state, I will just let the answering machine pick it up, most of the time they just hang up. We all have to be careful of these scamers.

Some (VERY RUDE) female left a message "asking" (read: demanding) to speak to the person in charge of the NYS electric/gas (I think). Never said hello/other greeting, not "may I speak" or "please, can I speak with..." Left no name, no company......People beware!
