They are calling my house from at 08.30 and 21.45. Sure, Microsoft technical support is based in India, calling and shrieking at me like banshee's.  I hope they pay a lot of rupees in long distance fees.

I got a call yesterday from this number, I saw as missed call

I got the call from thw 'same guy' with indian accent. Very aggressive and said he was from Windows Support. I got tricked before to stay on-line for one hour and then was told to buy sth more than $150.

Got called from this number too. Brief silence and then a recorded Goodbye message. Got called from a Croation number today  +385 (86) 862 179. Didn't pick up...

scam!! phone number is a pay phone from a gas station in NY. Seems like whoever is on the other end is just dialing random numbers to see who falls for his latest scam.

Got a call from this number today, on my home phone, but did not answer it. Caller ID was "Pay Phone". I then blocked my ID on my cell phone and called it back. The message was "This number is not in service".  

I just got a call from this same number.  They called twice.  I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message.  Decided to google it, and I found this page. Good thing I didn't answer it.

Got call late and they got verbally abusive when I said they were scam.

This number 607-723-9891 Sta Hess keeps calling my home telephone number. When I call back it says the number I dialed is not in service.  Today along with that number I am also getting calls from: pay phone 818-843-9427; 512-477-0300 PotBelly Sandwich; Lodhi Irsana 603-213-1978; 585-270-4695; V8230714140001 858-427-1389; WWIS Inc 602-973-5334; Seffner FL 813-793-6945.  When I answer no one is there.  When I call back it states

Number came up as New York, person had a heavy accent and hard to hear but said he was with Microsoft and my computer is sending out signals that it is infected. I have had several calls like this from different numbers. I told him I work for a major corporation who's IT&S verifies this is a scam and he got upset and told me they are lying, lol.

this lady has been trying to contact my daughter via my mams mobile number for the last few weeks.  We have no idea how she has my mams mobile number or how she knpws my daughter full name.  Everytime we try to call back it is disconnected.

they have also phoned me about writing competitons....ho do they get in peoples computers....s****

This number is now being used for a current scam Nov. 2011.  They call indicating that your computer is sending out virus messages to Windows or Microsoft Windows and the FBI

Got a call from this number today 607-723-9891.  Told me very nasty to go ---- myself.  then i got a call from unknown and after that a call from 000-000-0000.  How to get this to stop.  Very much Indian accent and very nasty.  Please help me!!!!

I got phone call from this number two days in row telling that they calling from Windows Support that my computer been hacked and they need to fix it I need to log in and guy name Evan will call me back tomorrow and I will need to log in. My computer did acting out out of sudden today, but thank you for warning me I will ask for his ID, manager info

I received a missed call from 607-723-9891 when i returned the call got a message stating this number had been disconnected.  Also received several calls from an unknown number during the day.  Only answered one of them but no one replied on the other end .  Turned ringer off rest of the day.  peaceful.

Tried to tell us our computer was downloading "illegal software" and that they were going to help us and that they were from "Software Service Provider" in Brooklyn. Watch out. SCAM.

Some guy called saying he would fix my computer before it crashed and all I had to do was log in for him so he could take a look! LOL I asked to speak to his supervisor and he got very rude and asked why I didn't believe him. I just hung up! Beware of the scam!!!

I have also gotten calls from this number, sometimes it shows unknown caller, or Hess Station. If I do not know the number I do not answer, I let my answering pick it up. Each time they have called they have not left a message.

Definite scam/phishing call.  Should be on the list below.  It was the windows tech support scam.

Brief pause before they picked up suggests that it was an autodialer and might be being routed in from another location.

Yup, same number, said they were from Microsoft Tech support.  Something about my Windows installation.  I told him to go away pretty quickly into the call.  Fairly late in the evening.  

Had a really strong accent and a distinct pause before the person was on the line suggests they're using an autodialer.

Same number, as well as another number a week ago, same scam, and I'm in Switzerland.
