Received this call this morning also at my job site.......which is a number that I don't give out.  Not sure what is the nature of the call aside from them stating I needed to give them a call back.  

The individual who left the message had a very strong accent and I had to listen to the message several times so I could get the number.  I have no intentions of calling them back!

i got this same call. thy told me that i was being sues. i said by who? he said i can tell you but you can not interupt me as i talk. i said jsut tell me who is trying to sue me. he said that it was the government. i was being sues for fraud. i said that is BS!!! i hung up and blocked the call. its bad enough they are giving this  crap but omg i could hardly understand them

Just received a call from "Michael Anderson" saying he was from an attorneys office. Cant remember the name. I think it was Mike something. He said they have apprehended 5 men who have been scamming me. "Haven't you been receiving calls from people trying to scam you"? He said. Then I asked him where he was calling from and he said Berrrkkely.. He couldn't even pronounce BERKELEY which is a couple of cities over from me! When I said to him, "So you work in Berkeley, and you don't even know how to pronounce Berkeley?? That's awful weird, don't you think? And then he hung up on me. When I checked his phone number on a reverse phone number look-up site, the number he was calling from was in Jamaiica!!!! Big Surprise!! Also, I remember a Michael Anderson calling me months ago saying we won millions of dollars from a lottery, but we had to go to WalMart and get a "Green Dot" card and put $499 dollars on it to pay for taxes and some other kind of horse pooh!! These scammers are really trying to "UP" there game. Look out for these guys!!!

David Miller called and said I was being sued by a company located in Elmira, New Yorkl  I asked how they had obtained my work #,  I told him I could not talk, and he asked for my cell #.  He wanted me to Call Xavier Marshall who would handle the legal work.  His #1-607-795-7547l  Located in Elmira NY. It just sounded like a scam.

I also keep getting messages from 607 number threatening if I don't call them back he feels sorry for what's going to happen to me, and have a blessed day! Seriously these people are scumbags and total scammers, something needs to be done about this!  They keep calling my cellphone constantly.  When I called back to ask the name of the company they said it was a federal reserve or something.  I don't think federal employees call people and threaten them with fictitious names and speak broken English.

They keep calling me and at work to the point the boss had a trace put on the phone to catch the person or ppl involved. My attorney called they answered federal. Law enforcement  and transferred him to a couple different people when he told them he was a lawyer they hung up on him . I'm wondering if the calls are gonna stop already reported to the FTC and attorney general office.

After your. Attorney called them back did you receive anymore phone calls at work. Or yourcell

There is nothing that can be done about the because these people are most likely out of country, it is a scam, they are not going to arrest you nor are the going to show up at all, it is a scare tactic. call your AG's office and report them, and block their number. I am doing more research on this and i am going to try a way to stop these people for harassing, and breaking the law.

First, tell your boss it's a scam and to have the number blocked.

Second, call the FBI and report them, especially if they're harassing you on the job.  I've had the IT division of my agency block their numbers.  Today, they've only called once, and that number is blocked, too.

Once your boss tells them to stop calling and they don't, now your boss can take action to file charges with the FBI's White Collar Unit on Fraud, as well as blocking them from the office number.  I've called my IT department to have all of their numbers blocked because they're using Vonage and voice mail IP cover up so they can't be traced.

I called the FBI and reported them.  You have to file complaints against them.  Get as much information as you can and then file a complaint.

I have filed police reports and FBI reports against this organization.  If they call you and make threats, report their behinds to the FBI.  Once you report to the FBI, they can't touch you, no matter what they say about calling the U. S. Marshal's office to have you arrested and transported to Elmira New York for court.

Also, file a report with the New York State Attorney General's office, since they're giving out the number to the Elmira Court House as part of the scam.

I just received a call from 607-795-7354. The same thick accented man leaving a threat message on my voice mail that everyone has posted about. I called him and asked who it was and were they are located. On the message he told me he was calling on the behalf of some law enforcement agency and to either get in contact with them or have my attorney get in contact with them.I searched the number and found these posts about it. When i brought that up he hung up immediately. Now if these parasites are calling from the same phone number and apparently the same location why can't they be caught and charged with fraud or even attempted theft?

Keeps calling my job..threats of being arrested. Says i owe money for something but i keep getting run
around over what. I said to arrest me i won't be bullied! They keep calling non-stop. My boss has told them to stop but they won't.

I got the same phone call three days after I applied for a payday loan.  They threatened me with arrest by the U. S. Marshal's office TODAY.  The Marshals don't arrest people for fees they allegedly incurred by applying for payday loans.  I will never do anything like this over the internet again - they burned me but good.  They threatened me with arrest and being blacklisted and put on probation - everything they could threaten me with.

I don't like threats and I don't like anyone who uses them to hustle money.  They're going to pay...with a visit from the U. S. Marshal's office.

Oh, and Roger Fitch has an arrest record - do a google search, cause I found it.

I got the same call. I was freaking out thankfully my coworker goggles the number and I learn is a scam right away these dudes are rare special additions what jerks thank goodness they didn't get me for 1900$ smh

Holy cow!!  or Holy Pig!!  (which ever applies)    When I read back over these posts,  I smell a Shill or shills at work.  Like The previous poster said,  "Posting suggestive comments to imply that it can happen to YOU"   Sometimes you have to read a little into Shilling posts.  They don't always praise the scammers,  sometimes they make comments to further instill a degree of   "Oh NO!"   into those that they are already trying to SKIN.

Bet you dollars to donuts that you are one of them!.........posting suggestive remarks to make people worry about getting calls at their job sites.  In the USA,   Employers are sued for wrongful termination.  Threats and calling job sites does nothing to those who inform themselves...

Did you even read all of the other posts on this thread??  Hang up on them!!  Now,  Let me help you out by saying........THEY ARE INDIAN SCAMMERS CALLING FROM A BOLLYWOOD SWEAT- N - FLEECE  CALLEM - N- SHAKEEM DOWN CENTER!!!!  Advise your company what is going on.....that's it.    Now you know who they are and what to do.

Jose,  you missed the point.   They are calling from a call center in India or Pakistan.   They are scammers!
They couldn't get someone arrested in Mumbai if they molested a cow on main street.

This company is calling my job and harrassing me about money. I do not know who they are!!!

File complaint if they keep calling with local law enforcement, The FTC, local State Attorney General and  www.ic3.gov

I have recieved the same calls, both at work and on my cell phone.  They are calling my husband to. They started calling from a different number today and different name but same voicemail.. I just give them crap back, they started shouting vulgarities at me yesterday and i told them "is that the best you got"  if you remain calm and dont let them get to you, they eventually give up. I have just started answering and putting them on hold..  or let them listen to the radio in the car hahaha.  Report to local authorities or FTC if gets out of hand.  I got caught by these guys a few years ago, managed to recover some money through my bank, but DO NO GIVE THEM A DIME!!!!  Good luck to you all, the calls will stop eventually.   There needs to be a way we can stop them from harrassing us and exploiting us like this.

These people called me and said the same thing to me that they was going to take me to jail and blacklist my name they are really out to get someone to give them money I almost fell for it because I don't need no trouble but thinkfully I didn't please people just watch who you are dealing with

OMG!!! these guys are calling me at first they scared the CRAP!! out of me because they 1st called me at work, which I never give out, then I messed up and gave them my cell phone and they won't stop calling me!! they were saying stuff like call them asap or may god help you, these people are some straight up CLOWNS!!
