I just left a message for the 608-230-6657 number. I just realized these calls come from two different numbers 608-230-6652 and 608-230-6657. So, they must have at least 2 phone lines they are calling from. I knew the numbers were 608 area code,but I just realized they were 2 different numbers.

These people call me all the time,it is very frustrating. I answered once and supposedly it was a call from our local newspaper asking us to get the daily paper instead of on weekends. I told them I wasn't interested. They call every day at least a few times a day . They hang up and leave no message. If I answer the phone(by mistake),they always hang up. It is very rude. I would like these calls to stop. I did register to win concert tickets from our local radio station.. I gave them my phone number,(so they could call me if I won). Hopefully, they are not in on the scam.

i am getting these calls as well from (608) 230-6657,  I don't answer the phone becuase they always call when i'm at work.  I have never signed up for a free vaction (that i remember, lol) nor been to the madison/wisconsin dells area in over a year (and even that i just drove thru).  Thanks for having this forum. if it continues i'm going to contact the attorny general in Minnesota as well as others.

When I answer no one responds.  They have been calling for 2 weeks.

I get calls at all hours of the day and night.  We did go to WI Dells last month - this must be connected to the resort somehow.  I'm calling there to complain.

This number has called me about 20 times in the last week. Each time, I do not pick up. I am unable to return the call. I receive calls at 9am, all the way to 9pm. I am reporting this to the Do Not Call registry immediately

I just sent this info to the do not call list.  sending many complaints into the do not call list WILL get them investigated by the federal government.  I have been on the do not call for over 3 years now for this phone number and I have never visited wisconsin (even though I am just across the lake).

I have received calls from 608-230-5567 for the past week almost daily.  I have answered it a couple times and each time no one speaks on the other end.  I will be reporting this number to the nuisance call center.

I too am receiving phone calls from this 608 number. When I answer, no one responds, however, I do hear background noise- voices and keyboard clicking.  I put my phone number on the Wisconsin DO NOT CALL list and I will follow through by filing a complaint.

I have been getting these calls also but nobody ever answers,BUT tonight someone did.  It was a man with a really deep voice saying "get everyone out of the room"   I called the sherriffs department but they cant do anything.  Told me to call my cell phone provider and have them put a trap on the numberr, next time they call it will be sent to the sheriffs office for investigation.  I took it as a threat and went to a hotel for the night.

I got a message left from this number.   The language was not nice. " WTF" was used.

I have been receiving calls from "Barry Arneson" for over a month.  Three or four times a day - everyday (including Sat. and Sun.).  I will not answer them, but they are driving me crazy.  Can't somebody stop them from calling?

Keep getting calls from this number, Caller ID says Barry Arneson. No reponse when I answer so I hang up.  Gonna try to block the number with Comcast.

caller id shows name Barry Arneson and noone talks when answer phone, calls seeem to come every few hours possiby from automatic dialer checking to see when phone is answered for possible call back by live person at those times

I've been called six nights in a row. Although the name says Barry Arneson, they identify themselves as the Vacation Resorts Bureau. They insist that they have the right to call you because you filled out a sweepstakes form when you were on vacation in Wisconsin, so they can contact you whenever they feel like it. I have asked them multiple times to remove my phone number and they have failed to do so. They must be using a robotic caller and the telemarketers aren't always available to take the call once you pick up.

Write your attorney general, as well as the attorney general of the State of Wisconsin to complain about these intrusive calls. More importantly, write someone at the Wisconsin Dells and inform them that marketing tactics like this might make you rethink where you take your next vacation.

I started getting them daily - I will NOT answer these calls and have labeled them on my phone book as do not answer.

I have gotten calls from this # everyday for four days now. I call back and there is no answer. I used to live near a Bluegreen resort or something but do not have any affiliation what-so-ever,  I do know they were always desperate for telemarketers from reading the classifieds in my area. I think its probably them after googling 608 230 6657. I wish they would stop calling me!!!

At 2:54 PM CST I got a call from "Quick Trips"... Put them on spkrphone, and mute it so I could hear what they wanted to say while the voicemail message was recording. Nothing... O_O

I got a call from 608-230-6657 on May 20, 2010.
The phone id had "Quick Trips" on it.

I called the # back and no one answers.

I contacted Blue Green Resorts, the owner of this number. They gave me the marketing numbers phone number which is 1-800-845-1995.  If you call that number and hit option 3, they will remove your number from their list. They say it will take 24-48 hours for them to remove it.  Good Luck!

I started getting these calls as well. Call and hangs up. Call and hangs up. Driving me nuts. I tried calling the 1-800 number listedabove but they weren't much help.
Barry Arneson- your name no longer comes up on the caller ID. It just says Madison, WI.

We were getting calls from this number as a former subscriber to the Pioneer Press in St. Paul, MN.

Call the Pioneer Press 651-222-1111 follow the prompts until you get a person.  Tell them you've been getting calls from their telemarketing company and need them to stop.  Tell them you've made several requests to be taken off the call lists and need to escalate the situation.  They should forward you to the manager of the telemarketers (supposedly this person works DT St. Paul at the PP location).  I was told him name is Adel Ibraham.  Ask for this person and talk to him about getting removed from their list.  We did that today and we'll see if it helps!!
