Just got one of these calls - from Google ? they noticed I wasn't listed in Google + they went on to tell me they were contracted by Google to get local businesses on front page. They stated Google contracted with Local lighthouse because "Google" didn't have enough time

Strong warning:  NO company can deliver what this caller promises.  A prerecorded message offered a "Number One" listing on all search engines, and claimed to be with Google, Bing, and other sources.  The live attendant identified himself as "Google Services," but then acknowledged the company name is "Local Lighthouse," based in California, from a call center in south Florida.   BEWARE.

Got a call from this number today.  They did not leave a message, just 20 seconds of silence.

Someone Left a message with no call back number. My caller id picked up the missed call. Giggled and got this thread.  Odd

The @#$%^& just called again, this time the recording "threatened" that I was going to lose all the benefit of their service, this is my last chance if I did not respond! As Maggie Smith, the Dowager Countess in Downton Abbey said so well, "Can we take that as a promise?"

I got a recorded message today from this number on my cell, entered 1 for a live voice, who identified the caller as being from Local Lighthouse of Newport CA. When I pressed for more precise ID and address, he hung up on me. That's an obvious red flag. Checking the LA BBB on Local Lighthouse reveals that they are being "evaluated" for a rating because of complaints about misrepresentations, ADAD use, etc. When I called their listed number, 888-370-8231, I got enough information to confirm the recorded message came from them, even though they are actually at 15991 Red Hill Avenue, Suite 202, Tustin CA 92780 (according to BBB). If you can't be honest about who you are, what else are you lying about? It appears that they have been concerned in the past about BBB complaints, so the best way to have an effect on them is to make your concerns known to the Los Angeles Better Business Bureau. Google "Local Lighthouse complaints" for more info.

I'VE BEEN RECEIVING A CALL WEEKLY CLAIMING THE SAME AS ABOVE.  CALLER IS EITHER READING OFF A PAPER OR ITS A RECORDING.  I TRIED ASKING A QUESTION AND HE KEEPS ON BLABBERING.  SO I JUST HANG UP

Called and didn't leave a message. I'm on the do-not-call list.

They called an immediately hung up on me.  Then when I called it back, it was a recording asking me to press 1 if I wanted to be on their do not call list.  How do I know whether I want to be on that list or not if they don't say anything when they call?!

Idiot called and claimed he runs the datacenter for "Yahoo, Google, and Bing" and that he will get me on #1 result.

He doesn't run the datacenter for Yahoo, Google, and Bing or he would me a multibillionaire.

Probably Google listing update. I hate them; been trying to get them to stop calling for over a year.

Came up as Local Web on caller ID. Didn't leave message.

Called and left no message, but staid on the line for almost a minute.
