Got one today.  Mike Davis.  Same message as all of you.  I am having a hard time believing that it is the Jaycees.  It doesn't fit their normal business model.  Perhaps is a group claiming to be the Jaycess.

Received the following voice mail at my office this morning (caller was very abrupt):  "Casey - Mike Moore - please return my call at 240-1670."

Same thing - my call was from Paul James.  Didn't call back.

Caller id is "Private caller" message is "This is John Moreland - call me at 240-1670"

I received voicemail message at my office on Friday afternoon (10/23/09):  "Hi this is David Thurber, please return my call at 240-1670."  I called that number on Monday morning and my call went straight to answering machine with rather unprofessional greeting.  I suspect some sort of telemarketing nonsense.

Who would call back someone who blocks thier number and doesn't leave the name of the company they represent.

Got a call on 3-22-2010 from a John Mooreland asking to call back at 240-1670 with no other information.  He called my business line, but left no other information - this is not professional behaviour, and I won't call back.  Thanks for your service.

Got a call on 3/23/2010  and he left a message on my business line.
"Hi this is Don Martin call me back at 240-1670"
No other information was given on the voice message.
I'm not calling back and thank you for your service.

Got a message to call Scott (sounded like Gruenwald) at 240-1670 on March 22, 2010. No message, no area code. Line was busy when I tried to return call. Based on the above comments, I'll view this as a nuisance call.

I've fielded calls from these guys for years. Yes, it's the Jaycees asking for corpoate $ for advertising. Two years ago, I made the mistake of actually talking to the guy and before I knew it, I had received an invoice in the mail for advertising I never agreed to. Every last one of these folks do the hard sell, and don't take NO for an answer. Thank goodness for caller-ID.

Yup, they're still at it!  My call came today at 3:00 p.m. identified on the caller-id as "private".  Was from "John Martin".

Hi, this is Adam Norton, I'd appreciate a call back at 240 1670. I'll be in my office till 5pm.

Got a call from Mike Kuba, 240-1670. "Give me a call back". No details. I will not.

I received a call from same number from a Samantha who left a VM. I returned call following day, and they sent me to an "Adam" who was not in.  Glad I checked this site before pursuing any more interaction.

Mike Cuba called from this number and reached my offce extension...he had to dial an extension to get to me.  He left no info about why he called.

I got a call from an anonymous number, they left a voice message to call Ben Grant at 240-1670.

they're very persistent, different names, say they are following up on a fax

I've had several calls from this number on my office voicemail. Same number, different names left. Every message is the same, "This is so and so, please call me at 240-1670" no other information is left.

Caller ID showed private, a guy claiming to be Cory Wilson left a message on my voice-mail saying to call him back at 240-1670 - didn't bother leaving an area code. I Just took a shot in the dark based on accent, and the fact I know other people with phone mumbers starting with 608-240-XXXX. When I called it back a guy saying "This is Daniel" answered the phone. When I talked to Cory he sounded confused and asked it I was the one that he talked to about cheritable donation the day before. HE CALLED MY CELL-PHONE! Which means he was making it up as he wen't. I am the only one that answeres my Cell-Phone as it is my Business Phone line. Best Flooring: (608) 728-2378

I received a voicemail at my office today  (01/06/10) with,  "This is Scott Gruenwald, call me  at 240-1670."  
Thanks for posting these so I know not to try calling back.

Some guy called me on Friday (1-8-10) and left a message on my voice mail saying only "This is Scott.  Call me at 240-1670."  Thanks to your service, I won't.  

Why doesn't the phone company that controls this number shut these spammers down?
