Where is truth? Definitely not in your responses. We are divided & will never work together as long as everybody bashes each other with name calling & no facts to back up your comments. Example would be women & children. Please. There might exist a man ( and just maybe somewhere a politician ) out there that doesn't like women & children but to say a certain politician hates or disliks.es women & children when the guy is happily married & has two daughters & a son is such a lie it is beyond stinking and you win no respect for future opinion

Dear Eric,

My guess is that you can't get or keep a real job so you have to work annoying the f*ck out of people by making phone calls for political purposes.  If this is true, you are lower than a snakes belly.  If you tell me to "stick it" please include a phone number and address where you can be reached.  I'd love to kick you in the n**ts and have them come out your ears.

Just received a call from "Republican Part" (probably Party but got cut off).  I didn't answer, they only let it ring twice.  This number is now on my block list.

Seems that the Repugnican party spam calls more than the other party.  Makes me glad I lean toward the other party anyway...

Those darn liberals...how dare they want change and progress.  Many great leaders- both Republican and Democrat have made great changes in this country in the name of "liberalism".
Sounds like a lot of Republicans out there are condemning liberals for whining and ironically doing the same thing because "not eveything is handed to you on a silver platter".  You quit complaining too.  You probably don't like teachers because then you actually have to spend time with your children or pay a ton for daycare so you can work your private sector job.

Politics has gotten so ugly it's pathetic.  The great leaders of the past are most likely rolling over in their graves as they see manipulation, deceit and outright fraud invading our political parties.  If it takes robo-calls, criminal staff members, and the rich elite to win an election- wow.

Notably, two blatantly false tactics have been employed by groups or individuals that seemingly would support Governor Walker's campaign. One group or individual is informing citizens, who in the exercise of their constitutional rights signed a recall petition, that they need not vote today as they have already accomplished their work. A second group or individual, calling from telephone number 608-257-8029, has indicated to citizens that the recall election is on Wednesday. Both of these assertions are blatantly false and constitute the commission of an election-related crime.

What are you talking about? Taxes for working-class and middle-class people have increased under Walker. All he's done is play a shell game, convincing people that we need to take away as much as possible from people who have actually earned it and need it to "save" the state, meanwhile funneling that money to the people who have financed him. The collective bargaining thing was part of the "budget repair" bill for the budget that he hadn't even passed yet, and he himself admitted it saved no money. All it means is that public employees will no longer be able to negotiate, and we can look forward to positions turning into limited-term contracts with low pay and few or no benefits. You do not attract qualified applicants that way (and this is the same logic used by people who will defend executives making more money at the expense of the company and its employees). Once-coveted state jobs are being advertised for the first time in years, and the positions sit there unfilled because people want jobs where they can afford to pay off the student loans that were required for them to be qualified for those jobs in the first place. Under Walker we've seen legislation passed that screws over small businesses (such as craft breweries) in favor of corporations. He's facilitated government overreach by legislating that local governments must have the same restrictions that the state does, which means cities can't decide for themselves how much paid time off they want to offer their employees. He's destroying the DNR, lifting restrictions on everything from pollution to building on protected wetlands. People say they don't care, but they'll care when they can't fish and their house is flooding because the flood mitigation areas they were living near have been paved over. He's proposed selling off public lands and the entire deer herd to private owners, which will mean hunters having to beg and pay exorbitant fees to hunt on private lands. Which won't really matter since chronic wasting disease measures have been lifted and we can count on it to spread through the state instead of being contained. Walker has removed transparency and accountability from government and taken legislation as far away from citizens as possible, by creating an environment where legislators can move bills to committees to avoid having public hearings and having votes in the middle of the night. He's trampled on citizens' First Amendment rights by requiring permits for more than 3 people to assemble on government property and controlling what citizens can wear in the gallery (forcing them to remove T-shirts with the Constitution on them or take off hats with the US Marine insignia). Anyone not receiving a kickback directly from Walker who votes for him anyway is a fool.

Governor Walker will be re-elected tomorrow...liberalism is a cancer that has been decaying our once great nation, and Governor Walker who campaigned on reform, told all of us his intentions, was elected by the people and did exactly what he promised in 1 years time...he has done more for our state than any tax & spend liberal would ever consider. The Tom Barrett's, Jim Doyle's & Barack Hussien Obabma's of the world see the nation as an opportunity to create an entitlement state...create a society, a "Great Society" that is standing in line with their hands out, waiting for the mighty government paycheck, freebies...vote for me & I will give you all these entitlements...all at the expense of the hard working private sector....liberalism fails everytime it is tried...our constitution will be upheld, Walker will be re-elected and the dum-dum DNC liberals will have not only wasted 16 - 17 million of our state's revenue, but will also waste another estimated 40 million of the DNC's cash...what a bunch of DUM-DUMS!!!!!

Now I'm sorry I didn't answer. I was just looking up numbers so I could identify what type of call they were for my contact list. I put them in the contact list so I know they've called before. This is the first call I've had from this number, and I'm getting lots of calls daily all about the election.

I hope this one calls again so I can tell them how strongly I support our governor. The protesters, most based in Madison and many brought in by the unions from out of state, are spreading one lie after another about legislation benefiting the wealthy, and that's just not the case. Wisconsin was in trouble. Walker had a plan. He ran for governor saying this is what he would do, so we elected him, and he did exactly what he promised. It worked. In less than a year, things are much better. Property taxes went down. Unemployment is down. More businesses are moving into the state, bringing jobs. There are many businesses ready to add jobs once the recall election is over. They do not want to do anything unless they know they are safe from Walker's reforms being repealed. Please do not believe accusations posted here, and you don't have to believe me either. If anyone is undecided, please look up information on reforms and their results at the official state of Wisconsin web site.

I am for voting for Walker as well.  Facts are he has saved WI money overall.  Truth- I went to school to become a teacher and decided that it wasn't for me.  I could have had that cushy job because yes people, it is a cushy job.  I understand there are downfalls for every job and working for a union is certainly one of them.  But we live in the United States people.  We should not have such a diverse working environment aka: this person gets great health benefits, great wage that is guaranteed to go up every year, summer's off, tenured after so long while this person aka ME: who is educated and has chosen to work in a field I enjoy greatly does not anywhere close to those benefits and cannot rely on a guaranteed raise every year (and funny enough I work in insurance).  Not everything is handed to you on a silver platter and do we really want our future generation thinking that way?  Wake up everyone.  Don't vote one way simply because you are sour that things have changed.  We need change to make our world continue to work for us otherwise the value of our dollar will continue to drop, mom and pop shops will continue to disappear, our educators will continue to drop out of this field because why?  Because you are throwing a fit like a 5 year old?  Wake up for crying out loud.  Remember why you wanted to be in your profession in the first place.

Political Call
Today received a robo-call from this number-the read-out said Republican Party. The message was clearly promoting the re-election of Scott Walker. They made the mistake of calling the wrong household. This man has clearly betrayed the public's trust in him, and I've heard that from several people who voted for him in 2010. I hope those who still support him (of course, other than the Koch Bros, Nikki Haley, and other out-of state $$$$$$$$), are fully aware of every piece of legislation he has passed and its consequences........that includes sportsmen, teachers, nurses, kids, women, nursing home residents, college students, the elderly on fixed incomes, Badgercare recipients....let's face it, most of his legislation benefits the  wealthiest folks, ONLY. It has indeed served to "divide" the citizens of Wisconsin, but it remains to be seen just who and what is "conquered"!

Dear New -                Please, take the time to understand fully ALL the legislation this man is responsible for and you will see just who that vote goes to if you do indeed vote for him. It is not for the betterment of Wisconsin, but rather for the Republican National Party's  power grab NATIONALLY. It is a vote to repeal what so many men and women before us have worked for and in some cases, given up their lives for-civil rights for men and women and children, in their daily lives and in the workplace. Is that the future you want, really?

Are you looking in the mirror as you say that? You should be. Walker has betrayed the public's trust and has to call in $$$$$$$ from around the country to help him hang on by a thread. Get educated to what's really  going on- read the legislation he's passed. If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention to the facts.

Survey
I moved here last month to start a new job and for the most part I've been really happy with all the people I've met here in Wisconsin and I'm glad to have a good paying job.  I started receiving a lot of calls from all sorts of numbers and since I've not signed up for do not call yet with my new phone I thought I'd look some up here.

I can honestly say that being new here it's really sad to see so many vicious comments.  I really didn't have an opinion about who to vote for or even if I was going to vote, but after reading the comments left by some of you I have to say I would be inclined to vote for the person who's supporters didn't sound like they were just released from the loony bin.  If that is what passes for normal conversation in Wisconsin, you need to take a hard look at yourselves.  You're so full of hate you can't even leave a comment on a phone listing page without spewing venom.

It was a survey call from the republican party of Wisconsin, and thanks to the vile comments his opponents left here, the next time they call, and when I vote, it will be in support of Governor Walker
