Caller id shows it as Democratic Party

it called and left no message in the evening.

On 9/10/2012 got a call that my caller ID identified as the Democratic Party.  
I stated three times, "DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN!"
We are on the DO NOT CALL NUMBER!  We have NEVER/NOR WILL HAVE a relationship with the Democratic party.
If they call again after I requested to NOT BE CALLED, I will consider this harasement!

Democratic National Party, Wisconsin. I've had numerous calls from them despite the fact that I'm a Permanent Resident, and not a Citizen, and therefore can't vote. I assume they don't get names and numbers from the voting register.

I got a call from this number, and when I answered, there was nobody on the other end of the line.  I called it back, and was told that the call was a reminder to vote on 5 June.  I told them not to call me again, because I would be spending fifteen hours at the polls checking voters in, helping people register and helping the disabled cast their ballots and that was a lot better than sitting on my butt disturbing people while they were trying to eat dinner.

no message left...automated or otherwise. The primary recall elections were yesterday here in WI. I'm in a different area code so I'm not sure what this is about.

Some annoying blather  about voter protection apparently appealing for volunteers and contributions. Sadly such trash is not included as part of the Wisconsin and Federal NO CALL LISTS. 8 June 2011. Madison area code 608.  No ID. Might this be a Republican pretender because the WI GOP legislature/governor Walker recently passed unnecessary voter protection laws in a state know for its history of clean elections?

Received a few calls from this number. It's a Madison, WI area code.  Caller ID says "Democratic Party" so we know not to pick up. They started to leave one poorly worded, propaganda, and untrue message during which I picked up then hung up.  They haven't called back for almost three weeks.

I have received 4 calls from this number. The first call was from a female who identified herself as an AFL-CIO representative. I told her I was not interested. I got 3 more calls from the same number over a period of about a week, but I was not home.
These calls are intended to get support for the Wisconsin unions in their bid to recall Senators. I'm happy it was just a phone call. My friends who own a business got a personal visit from union reps who informed them that if they didn't want to lose business, they would have to hang the "I support the unions" in their place.

If they come to my door, they'll have more to contend with than they wish.
