I keep getting phone calls, and am getting tired it.  I have got into the habit of researching the calls,  This number is one that I have gottne calls from.  I called back and it was Chamberlain Research.

Chamberlain Research is a small research firm out of Madison, WI.  Their web site is chamberlainresearch.com

They called for my girlfriend, but would not leave a message. I hung up and called them back and they answered chamberlain research.

I just found out that survey research is exempt from the Do Not Call list.  However, if you ask a research firm to remove your name from their list they will.

The people posting positive things about "Chamberlain Research Consultants" are shills for the company, exactly the sort of thing you'd expect from SCAMMERS.

This is a telemarketing operation making unsolicited calls, refusing to honor the spirit of the Do Not Call regulations and they do not maintain a no-call list of their own. They will harass you, and refuse to stop harassing you.

They just called me because I gave them my phone number a few months ago when one of the owners talked to my marketing class.  It is Chamberlain Research and often if you go in for a study or do a survey over the phone they might pay you. They were very friendly I would say go for it!

I just got a $25.00 check from Chamberlain Research Consultants.  I agreed to take part in the survey regarding musical computer software and that was about 3 weeks ago.  I haven't cashed the check yet but in doing some research they appear to be very legit.  I may sign up for more on their site.  I have participated in surveys in the early '90s and was paid quite well for the time I put into it.

They can suck my Richard, or Rooster.

The company is Chamberlain Research Consultants and they do research/surveys for big companies that pay them too...they will offer you things for taking their survery.

My mobile phone rang, I answered, no response on other side.

OK, more info. This number came up on a couple more websites... one of them
a porn website and another a suspicious looking pharmaceutical retailer. This
makes me think of when my CC info was stolen. I had no idea how the scammers
got my info, but they did. They were using the CC to pay for shipping and
memberships to singles "hook-up" websites. Probably selling viagra type drugs
to people.

So, I would like to warn anyone about a scam. Hackers can obtain information
from your browser, like stored fields and passwords. They could very well get
your CC info as well as your name and phone number. Be careful what website
the you visit and also don't have your browser save any info.

Just got a call from this number. They hung up as soon as I answered.
First thing I did was a google search for the number and then found this
website. Don't know why they called or where they got my cell phone number
from.

Is there a market research firm called Cambridge in Madison, WI? They called my cell from this number and asked for me by name to participate in a survey. I always thought numbers for surveys and market research were dialed randomly. My cell is unlisted so how did they know my name?
