Go get 'em, Tom! I've put all of our ohones (cells & land lines) on the National No-Call list more times than I can count. Doesn't matter. I continuously get absolutely bombarded by telemarketers. The last couple of years I get pretty rude and usually just hang up w/o saying anything.National No-Call list must be managed by the government for all the good it does!

I just got a call from the same number trying to get my credit card number saying I ordered a $50 gift card from lands end. They gave me the first four numbers and wanted me to give them the rest. F****ng pricks

They probably had a concern about your order that they wanted to discuss with the person who placed it. The phone number was obviously meant to make calls and not receive them. God forbid they didn't have your husbands sweater vest in stock in his color of choice!, they might need to call back and see what he'd like to do, instead of just waiting for him to complain that he didn't receive it.

I can guarantee you that the message did get passed along. Lands End makes it a priority to pass along feedback. Each and every message gets read and reviewed.

A phone number can be easily faked. This was probably the case.

It was LandsEnd telling me about an upcoming sale!  How Irritating is that!

Caller left a message identifying herself as Lands' End Customer Service. She was calling about a return they had just received from me. If you want Lands End to stop calling - contact them and request to be put on the do not call list.

Lands End calling to verify order that was placed.

The idea is not that "Lands End" called them,  but Lands End did  not leave a message and  many people screen their calls. And yes, it is a protection device as well. When someone unknown calls me and does not leave a message it makes me suspicious. Also many people made the phone call to the government that keeps solicitors from calling and somehow they slip through and that makes many people angry. Just throwing my two cents in.......

The number belongs to Lands End. I placed an order this a.m., received a call and voicemail from this number this afternoon.  They left an 800 for me to call, which I did, and it was indeed it was Lands End with a question about my recent order.

This is a legitimate Lands End number.

I placed an order a couple of hours ago from Lands' End and just missed a call from this number so I believe the call is somewhat legit- whether a secondary company or not- sounds like they could very well want follow up. I think they left a message but haven't checked yet.

I placed an order with Lands End and a couple hours later got called from this number.  No one left voicemail so i assume it was just a courtesy call from Lands End.

i believe Dodgeville is the home of Land's End catalog.  I just received a call with no message left (July 6) from this number.  Over the weekend I canceled my subscription to their email notices, as they had gotten to be several a day - almost begging me to purchase from them!

Just received a hung up message from this number yesterday at 2:15 Pm> Ordered from Lands End a long time ago.  This website is very helpful.  At least I don't have to call back and possibly cause more problems for myself.

I got a call today and let it go to voicemail.  The recorded message said it was Lands End and they were offering free shipping this weekend.  Weird 'cause I've never ordered from Lands End.

Got this call last night on my cell, but it may have been forwarded from my home number.  I was at a show so I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.   I don't know if it was Lands End but we do have a Lands End credit account so it would make sense if it were them.

Every time this number shows up, I look at my cell phone like "who could that possibly be?!?!"  However, the company I work for does a lot of business with Lands' End Business Outfitters...in the past when I knew I would be in and out of the office I gave them my cell phone #, so that's why I receive calls from them, however it's only ever regarding an order or return.  Lands' End is quite a reputable company and really respects their customers' and their patronage.  Any unwarranted call you'd receive from them is if it was an incorrect number or they are following up on an order or return.  Lands' End does almost anything possible to make their customers happy.  If you let them know you've received unwarranted calls, I'm sure they would put you on their 'Do Not Call' list.

I just called Lands End once i identified this number via an internet lookup.  Talked with a very nice rep who told me that this number (608-935-6955) is one of their customer service numbers.  They have a group of operators who call people who havent ordered recently, or who have returned items; these people call customers, wanting to offer them free shipping if they''ll order from LE again.  I asked her why they do not leave a message, and why (when you attempt to return the call) their system just lets the phone ring for almost a minute and then gives this stupid automated machine voice that says the system is not answering and that your call will "now be disconnected".  She had no answer, so i asked that my name be removed from ANY call lists, and that she pass my complaint on to a supervisor. After assuring me she would do  sok she also gave me this email (landsend@landsend.com) which supposedly can be used to send complaints/requests about such phone calls from LE.  So, they have just alienated someone who orders regularly from them (we just order under my husband's name, not mine, so i guess it looks like i dont order.  At any rate, this is about one half step up from slimy marketing...if they cant do me the courtesy of leaving a message, or putting their name on caller ID, or let me call back and talk to them, then why should we bother with them?  Believe me, we will be looking at local shopping sources and other online competitors instead if this is the path they choose.  I notice that this is an ongoing problem with them since 2007, so doesnt look like they care.

Hey Land's End! Here's an idea..... identify yourself by leaving a message. Maybe then people will respond to your annoying calls! The fact that you wont, leaves me cold. Why should I give of my time if you wont even say who you are?
