I have received several of these on my iPhone (866-511-6912) & I have replied stop each time and it does not work. I am about to change my number cause it's getting annoying

Recived the same text message. Call (866) 511-6912 to claim your $100 Wal-Mart retail voucher. Txt STOP to be removed. I wonder if that really works to stop it. I also called from another phone and was put on hold. The message asking me to wait for the next available agent sounded strange. So I hung up.
