Received a call from lots of crazy numbers but this number called my reg phone 609-227-4849 who are these people and where is this person calling from

Got a call at 8:30 PM, I reluctantly answered it, I said nothing nor did anyone on the other line.

Called a few minutes ago. Caller ID says Unknown Name. No message was left on my voicemail. I never answer unknown callers or numbers I don't recognize.

Put this number in my list as F$$K Face I don't talk to F$$K Faces

Now I feel part of the "in crowd" by being bothered by this phone number today at 12:56 p.m.  I am a believer in caller ID since no one bothers to check the "Do Not Call" lists anymore.  If I don't know the number, I do not answer.  If it's that important to call me, leave a voice mail.  This obvious telemarketer left no voice mail.  So I felt the least I could do was expose him/her through this site.

just got a call from this number while i was texting someone, i hung up on whomever it was but googled the number because i didn't recognize it. looks like this person/company is a repeat offender. I hope i don't keep getting these calls!

Is this taped message from "Kevin", or a number of different businesses? The Kevin calls stopped for a while (the number was out of Bridgeport,CT), probably since so many made complaints to donotcall.org, but I believe this is a telemarketing agency at this number. I say we all call Kevin interested in his business, give bogus addresses and let him travel to all of them! Maybe he'll get the hint after he wastes all his time showing up in places he's not wanted.

In this day of advanced technology, why can't each of us have the ability to press a button on our home phone and that phone number will be rejected BEFORE it rings on the phone for all future calls.  There should be "home" phones that offer this option.

Also, I have stopped answering any calls that I do not recognize and I have shut off my answering machine.  Within three weeks, almost all of the calling stopped, because their machines are not getting any answer, even after 10 rings on the phone they are dialing, so it quits dialing it.  I just answer phones where I recognize the call.

Like others, I have an iPhone and I put all bad calls into one Contact labelled "DON'T ANSWER" and I make it a silent ring.  But the cell phone companies should all be forced to offer the ability to block phone calls at the receiver's direction.  
And, on the government websites, there should be a way to see how many complaints have been received for each phone number, so that we can take some of the worst phone numbers and block them on our phones, and so that we can make sure that when we complain about a phone number, that the government received and recorded our complaint.

I totally agree with you.The Do Not Call registry is a farce,a waste of space and money.I blow my whistle down the phone then tell them where to put their credit card.

When do you press *60  and does it cost anything?  I know when I press *69 AFTER I HANG UP it tells me the number that just called and charges 75 cents.

I think that we all should getoher and  do a clasaction Law suit  these people need to know that they can't keep stalking and harassing  us  we need to sue them for harassing calls  we need to keep a log of each time they call we need  to put copy down the number they are calling from the time and date they are calling  from  I have a log of each time they  the number they call from the date and time  they call.

You know it shouldn't be too hard to add a chip to phones with a program on it that you can add phone numbers you don't want and it would simply pick up and hang up as soon as one of those numbers appear.  you might it a half ring or something but that would be it!  

I am so sick of robo calls If I don't know the number I don't pick up.

I have been receiving calls from these 'card services' telemarketers for over a year now. I have been blocking each number they have called with (over 35 at this point). And I have been filing complaints with the FTC Do Not Call Registry and the FCC complaint site, to no avail. I do suggest you all do the same, and do not talk to them or call them back.

But to really get some attention, I created a petition on the White House We The People site. Please go there and sign it, we have to get the word out any way we can:

I have received several robocalls from "Account Services" this week alone.  I am on the Do Not Call list.

Here is a growing list along with that other guy that listed numbers.  You have to not answer the calls, do not send them to vm, just dont answer and dont send them to vm, keep a growing list and block the number through your cell phone provider.

Tried many times to get this company from calling me.  Reported to the FCC as well.  I still get called several times a month.

Hey there...Those same numbers have been calling me as well.  They call me multiple times per day from the different area code numbers saying they are a financial mortgage consolidation company.  My number is on the do ont call list as well.  I have told them to stop calling me and they continue.   They just hang up on my whenever I get someone actually on the phone.

These people are relentless.  I dont know how they got my number but they wont stop calling.  They call everyday.  I dont appreciate the harassment.
