I've probably received 50 calls from that number and a host of others using the same message on robot dialers and  the same script if you get a live scammer after pressing the appropriate button. Being retired, I have plenty of time to waste their time. I string them along (Wow! I'd LOVE to get a better rate! Tell me MORE!") until they request a valid credit card number so they can check my credit. I ask, "Have you ever heard about the FTC Do Not Call Registry, a**hole?" and hang up.

This is not even a sleazy credit card marketing ploy.  There IS NO single organization behind this racket.   It's an outright ** INDENTITY THEFT ** scam.  

The robocall script with "Heather from Card Services" or "Rachel from Card Services", or whoever she is this week, is a turnkey ready-to-run crimeware package being sold by one criminal in the underground black market of the Internet to other criminals.     In turn, dozens of different scammers and Internet criminals have bought this software package and are running it simultaneously.    

The idea is to get you to transfer your existing card balance to a new card with a lower interest rate.  In order to supposedly do this, you have to provide your existing card number, name, address, etc.    

However, there IS NO new card.  

The personal data you provided, along with that of thousands of others, is then sold to other criminals on the Internet via an underground black-market auction site patterned after eBay.

I am on the no call list.  Someone has called me from this number 4 times.  Please help it STOP!

Oooo, oooh, I wanna know how you do a phone firewall !!    I want one too, I wanna block all these ____ scumbags from ever reaching me. Even if I don't answer the phone, I have to either listen to it ring and ring or listen to my answering machine answer it and then they leave a lonnnnng silent blank.

Problem is my phone block only holds 30#'s and it is full !  and I can't seem to find another phone or call ID machine that has the capability to block more than that.

This call appears to be from some scumbag that has nothing better to do than bother people. The low-life does not leave a message and when you call their number the message says you cannot reach anyone.

"Lower your credit card rates" type call. "Have sent you several notices" (not true, never received any). I never answer but they leave messages. Wish they would stop calling.

We screen all calls when we're home. Don't know what these telemarketers get out of reaching our answering machine.

My phone firewall notified me I just got a call from this number. No attempt was made to dial an inward extension on my phone system so it's blatantly a non-important telemarketer or other scam.

I have gotten numerous calls from this same outfit on my home phone and my cell phone. it is always from a different number, I report each call to the "do not call" registry as a complaint, but m nothing ever seems to happen. Usually when I complain, I get 2 calls the next day on each phone.If i stay on the line to talk to a "friendly" customer service agent, I cannot get many words out before i get hung up on.

they call on a regular basis, never leave a message. tried to call back, get message that it is a promotional number not to be used to reconnect to customer service and use the number they give, which they didn't.

Just got a call from this number, too. I said hello a few times and the recorded message never kicked in--just silence.  I hung up. Annoying!

The recorded message says that the caller is following up on numerous mailed notices from a credit card company.  It makes the call sound like a collection agency.  If you press 1 an agent gets on with a sales pitch about lowering credit card interest rate.  The agent claims that they work for all major credit card companies.

 They refused to provide company name.  

Totally a scam.
