All law enforcement or fire/ems organizations DO NOT SOLICIT BY PHONE. Under no circumstances should you donate or give any info to them over the phone!! This is a SCAM

I get these calls twice a day and no one ever answers. I had enough of it when the phone rang at 9am on Saturday and Sunday.  Called the number and there was a recording that said it was the NJ Firefighters Assoc. I hope this guy's not ruining it for legitimate firefighters to get donations.  I sent one 6 months ago and don't know if I'll trust the caller enough to send a check next year.

Receive numerous calls from this number and no message is ever left, 'Mike' seems to know our name as well.  Got 2 calls from this number today. Have no idea what organization this is affiliated with.

I keep on getting calls from this number. They seem to know my name and ask for me, but wont state their business.

That number calls everyday and no one is ever on the line when I answer.

Keep getting these calls.  I believe I answered it once and told them to stop calling me.  It was some sort of solicitation, possibly for the police department.  Now I just don't answer and of course there are no messages left.  Also, put a block on the number

Keeps calling and asking for my mom and says his name is mike. Wont say why hes calling

I have received MULTIPLE unwanted calls from these a***oles. "Mike" refused to announce on whose behalf he was calling, despite my numerous attempts to ask.

I just called them back after getting numerous calls from them and never leaving a message.  I left them a message asking them to remove me from their calling list.  We'll see what happens!

"Mike" called me as well.  He's called every day this week, and when I answer he asks for me by name.  I'm reporting him.

This number rings in my home two or three times a month.  They always hang up.
I am so glad I pay Verizon monthly for an unlisted number and that I am on the National Do Not Call list.
Why can't something be done about these people who call.  Last week I received thirty seven calls from telemarketers.

called asked for me I said I didn't know him he hung up. who is this guy? Identified himself as "Mike"

Multiple calls in last couple days, no answer.  Suspect they are seeing if I answer (since I won't answer blocked calls), so that they can sell my number to others.

Just looked up their phone#. They are the Association Of Fire Fighters. They give very little to the firefighters...most is spent on fund raising. If you want to support firefighters,make a donation to your local fire Dept.

My father answered the phone this morning. They asked if he was me. My dad said"No,I'm his father". The caller didn't say anything else. My father kept saying"Hello,may I help you"? Then they hung up.

Interesting - asks for my wife.  won't say why.  If looking for a donations, why wouldn't they?  Hung up when I asked why.
