This has worked like a charm for me when I receive repeated unwanted phone calls even though I am on the do not call list: When there is a person on the other end of the line, I say the following in a very calm low, firm, assertive voice

      1.  What company do you represent?  Write down their response.  Then say:
      2  "I need you to listen to me carefully.  Number One, I am recording this conversation.
           Number Two, I want my name, phone number, and all information you may have on me
          removed from your data base.  
          And, Number Three,  If I receive one more contact from this number / company, I will
          file a law suit."
They can not remove your information fast enough!!!!  Try it!  It works!!!

Press *60 on your phone and follow directions to block this number.

Stop callin me.  I'm not interested in companies that advertise by phone, nor do I want your product.  Please do not call AGAIN.  REMOVE MY PHONE NUMBER FROM YOU CALLING LIST.

I have been receiving calls from above phone number for several months.  they don't leave a message.  When I call the above phone number, it states phone is not in service

this has got to be one of those all to frequent calls we've been getting about chaning our electric provider. They are super annoying and call alot. I also get flyers in the mail about changing too.

hi liz,,,i got a call from this number too. when i called it back it also said the number was not in service. how in the world can you use a number that is "out of service"....so much sneaky evil things going on in this world.only in america can this happen!!!!

Positive Energy keeps calling... keep telling them not to call, they call sometimes 3 times a day!!  I yelled asking them to quit calling and to take us off whatever list they have and the lady had to balls to say "Well I didn't call you personally before, so I didn't know you got a call."

Keep getting calls from this number.  Called it back - recording says not in service.  How can it not be in service when I just now got the call??

I get calls from this number repeatedly... Other phone lookup sites mention that it is an energy company. They say they are affliated with Atlantic City Electric (when I've talked to them). I have read that the FDIC can't do anything because we are already customers of Atlantic City Electric so it's technically not a new sales call. Perhaps contact Atlantic City Electric and see what can be done?

This number calls us on a repeated basis. When I answer they hang up. They have called at least 15 times. The caller ID says Atlantic City.

They have called me repeatedly several times a day for the past 3-4 weeks. They are Power Energy but try to claim that they are affiliated with your electric company. Sometimes when you answer phone no one is there other times they just try to harass you into listening to them. I am on the Do Not Call list which has helped to no avail.

This number called our home and was for phishing for private info about my husband as in ss number and trying to receive money. I believe that it is a fraud!!!

I believe it is an electric supplier trying to sell a switch from Atlantic City Electric. Of course, when you read  printed info they ( or other companies) previously mailed,  the fine print  says   intro price  subject to change... GOODBYE !!!      Despite being on Fed  " do not call" list, I don't think the FTC can help since I have a service relationship with A C  electric( supplier ) and other vendors are entitled to make their pitch...Good luck !

just called now, blew a horn and hung up

They called and a woman told me that I have a problem with one of my utilities.  When I asked which one, she told me to go grab my bill and she would help me.  What a scum bag!

The caller ID said "Atlantic City." The phone rang into voice mail; didn't leave a message.

called 7:30pm  left no message

Says Atlantic CIty NJ--- caller is Power Energy. You don't save any money in the long run if you switch to them btw.

Constantly getting calls at all hours from this #!  Told them not to call back, yet they still call!

I continue to get a call from this number, never any message, comes when trying to settle household down for the night, disruptive.  I am on the National Do Not Call list,,,apparently it is useless.

Rang three times. Did not leave a message. Did not wait for answering machine (4 rings)

It's a boiler room - dozens of people all making the same call, thus the noise.

they just called and demanded to talk to the person in charge of the electric bill ... I hung up!

I picked up the phone but said nothing just listened. It sounded like a group of people in a bar talking in the background.

Call from 609-345-4406  is Power Energy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They called twice today and when we said hello.. hello and computer voice came on and said goodbye..  freaky!!
