File a Complaint on-line!  It's the only way to stop these kind of calls!

They just called me three times in a row. No message. Ridiculous...important enough to call 3 times back to back, but not leave a message?

my phone number is listed on the national do not call registery.  I want to block calls to my number from 609-357-4842.  have the caller remove my number from its calling list

This is another recorded message saying I an entitled to receive discounted electric service.  It says that it's for PS&G customers, but in my area, we have Atlantic City Electric. I have pressed 2 to opt out of receiving "my benefit"  but they keep calling anyway.  These calls are very annoying, and they're calling several times a day - and even more so since the hurricane (Sandy) happened the end of October.

Got a call from 609-357-4842 and they leave no message, just hang up as soon as answering machine picks up.  My favorite way of resolving ANY telemarketer call is to first, let the answering machine pick up.  Then I go to my Comcast Voice account online and take the offending callers number and forward the call to another annoying telemarketer number.  I also make sure I have blocked the number I forwarded the call to so they can't call me either.  Works very nicely.  Unfortunately, these telemarketers have many numbers to call from, so you have to keep up with the new numbers they call from.  But, I do believe it slows them down a little.  I have also registered with the Do Not Call list, but it doesn't seem to work as well as my little solution.

It's my area code but comes up as "out of area" no response when I answer. They've called the last 2 days and during the height of Hurricane Sandy which I'm dealing with at the South Jersey shore, have they no friggin compassion?

Call from 609-357-4842, Allentown, NJ, dealing with lowering electric costs and offering rebates.  Listened to the message, and selected 0 for an operator.  Instructions said to have electric bill ready to provide info.  I instructed the gentleman that I had received too many unwanted calls, and wanted my number removed from calling list.  He said it would be removed.  We'll see if it works!

these people call me 25 or more times a day.  Ceaselessly.  Continuously.  I am not exaggerating.  More every day.  If you answer (answered first time) it's a blasting recording about how the electric company is ripping you off. On the phone it comes up as "Member Services".

i have received 4 calls in the last 2 hours from this number  I dialed the no back and got nothing, and i am on the do not call list also

these idiots use callerids of "power bill" and "discount center" and call from this number as well as 609-356-1326, 609-356-1327 and 845-206-4250.  i have supplied this information to the fcc by filling out the complaint form @ http://www.fcc.gov/complaints .  i encourage everyone who is called to take a minute to fill out this form so we can stop this idiot.

I have been receiving multiple phone calls not only from this number, but other ones as well. At first, I didn't answer the calls thinking that they are calling for the person who had the phone number before me. One day, I decided to call it back just to see who it was. It was a survey company calling to do a phone survey with me. There was an option to have your number removed and I did just that. In fact, I was very nice the first time I did it since the phone recorded message informed me that they would no longer call.

However, I got two more calls from the same company (although they came up as different phone numbers). Again, I called back and asked to please remove my number. I emphasized that it was my second request doing this and to please remove the phone number.

The very next day, they called yet again! This time, I wasn't too nice to them. I demanded that they remove my number from their database or I would log each time they called and file a complaint with the FTC, as well as the local business bureau.

However, they continued to ignore my repeated requested to remove my phone number. My final, and I mean FINAL request to them probably would have gotten my mouth washed out with dish washing detergent. I really cursed them out for what they were doing and promised that if they ever called back, instead of me calling them again, I would go through with my complaint to the FTC, as well as whoever I would complain to.

The things that these companies do is TOTAL NONSENSE! If you make a really simple request to never be contacted again, it should be honored immediately...not after having me call them repeatedly asking for the calls to be stopped. It's a waste of time for me to do that.

These scammers are spoofing different numbers. They called from 908-388-1152 4 minutes earlier.

calls my home phone 4 to 5 times daily...  I an on the DNC list also but the FCC is a joke.  They don't enfore the DNC and the telemarketers know it.

Have received multiple calls, several eveyday from PowerBill.  I never answer.  Just got one from 609-357-4842.  Have read above comments and, lo and behold, that number is the number for PowerBill.  I did answer the number call but no one spoke so I hung up.  Am glad to know it is the same annoying caller as Power Bil.  Now I have yet another number NOT to answer.

I never gave permission to any phone/utility/tv/internet/merchant companies to give my number to their 3rd Party Affiliates. But someone mentioned in one of these who called me sites that one should make sure whoever you buy from online e.g. Amazon merchants to a local store e.g. Macy's or Walmart when paying with credit card where is it I can opt out give NO permission to 3 party affiliates.

I called back that number, auto replay says sorry we missed you one our agents call you to take a short survey! Also leave your number with them IF you want to be removed from their LIST of numbers however they obtained  my number through 3rd party merchants possibly?
