Received this call. Just hang up. So tired of all these calls.

Why do people call and then hang up? does not make no sence. I found where call came from. Barnegat, NJ Warren grove Rd. I will find a name because that is what I do best with unknown numbers that are afraid of showing there names.

No message left. On the "no call" list but to no avail these objectionable calls get through.

this was a different number...SAME message as the last 20 something phone calls. I pressed the number to speak with someone. They asked if I had 3000.00 in credit card debt. I said no and they hung up...lol

7 calls in 3 minutes - no answer - just keeps calling and calling and calling! When I answer no one is there - just dead air. Blocked this SOB - PERMANENTLY!!!

Something to keep in mind about all these continuing bothersome calls for surveys, so called charities and so called charity pickups despite asking them to remove you from their list:

Call centers have sprung up in my town that make use of the survey and the charity loophole around the do not call list; they have been a headache for law enforcement, emergency services, neighboring businesses and residential areas.  When I ask any patrolling officer in town about these call centers, they are quick to state their frustrations about the criminal activity that some of these call centers have brought into the area. Several law enforcement agencies regularly visit some of these call centers looking for warrant arrests etc.  I have heard from sources including from frustrated employees that work for these call centers complaining about the drug activity, vandalism of cars and neighboring businesses, break-ins and theft, drinking while on the job, smoke breaks are actually marijuana breaks, drunk driving, very dangerous driving, tons of tossed out litter of empty liquor containers, trash, food etc.  I?ve even heard that the mangers are also involved in criminal activities and have even preyed on their legitimate employees who are simply trying to eek out a living on horrible wages.  Also the operators are untrained in a very high turn around, poorly managed and dysfunctional work environment.

Also realize this when you call a companies? customer service line and get horrible service from the call center that?s been hired by the company.  One time while on a call with our bank?s customer service, the operator was so loopy that it required ending the call and calling again to try and get someone else to help, think about that when you call a companies? customer service and the conversation gets odd, off the wall and obtuse ? you may be talking to an operator that?s drunk or on something.  After 6 months of getting a different and wrong answer to our ongoing problem each time we called our bank?s call center, we gave up and closed the account.

With so little police left in our town due to cutbacks, they can?t always respond to vandalism and break-ins when it?s witnessed as they have their plate full responding to the major emergencies, this allows the criminal activity free reign, the neighborhood becomes the hood.  Some insurance companies require proof of private security patrols before they will honor a claim due to vandalism or theft leaving the neighboring businesses off guard and uncovered.  These businesses also have the added cost to hire private security, install security systems/monitoring, upgrade lighting etc.  Then there are the dangers and headaches to the nearby businesses employees such as their cars being vandalized or broken into.  Some businesses simply give in, pickup and move out of town.

One of my neighbors owns a call center and he requires that his operators are bonded, but I guess there?s no laws requiring this ? there should be.  Right now in my town it seems like anybody can start up a call center and hire questionable labor for cheap without much regulation.

I my efforts the past several years to try and get something done, I am most struck by the fact that there?s no real help, everyone is more worried about being sued than dealing with the obvious problem - you are on your own while the town is taken over by the crime these call centers bring into the neighborhoods....

OMG- said wanted to  lower interest rates by $7,000.00  on HSBC card- we don't even owe that much to them-wanted credit card number- I said no and told them not to call back - but they called back 3 times!

I recieve about 2 calls per week from this number telling me there is no problem with my current card but to call for a better intrest rate. Be hard to do since I do NOT  have, have never had and do not want a credit crd. I also am on the do not call list.

Just got a call from this number for the umteenth time so I thought I would press one as prompted and asked the guy, firmly, to take my name and number off his call list that I was tired of getting called two and three times a day and he called me a dough bag. How do like that. He got a loud F%^& You A$$H*&^ from me.

This number: 609-384-1026 calls at various hours; however, all there is to be heard is background noise. When we tried to return the call (we have caller i.d.) the voice mail said this is DAVID GOODMAN. But, the voice mail box was full, and we could not leave a message. DO NOT fall for these calls; it is all a SCAM! Turn this person in ASAP!!

I have started acting as if I am interested in their offer and when I get a rep on the phone I play  "stupid" and answer all their questions "stupidly". I use different fake accents and keep them on the phone as long as possible, then I tell them I am going to keep wasting their time as long as they keep wasting mine. Believe it or not the calls have slowed down.

Shows up as Cell Phone NJ. Answered out of boredom. Should have known better. Card holder services once again. Now they are using cell phones. FTC will get tired of me reporting all these numbers.

Just got a call from this # which showed up as New Jersey??? I don't know anyone from NJ.

Added Robert and Loretta to my caller ID.  Might as well greet them by name when they call again!

We are fed up with getting calls from this telemarketing company and I thought it was made illegal by our government to do this....so how is it continuing?  I am on the National no-call list and this is the only thing that gets through beside charities and politican that are allowed.  How can they state that it is made possible through a government stimulus????  Can the government get involved to stop these calls since they are refering to a government in them????  What government???  Where?

My most recent calls also came from Barnegat  NJ  one yesterday! They had the same recorded message about this being my 2nd call (bs) and last chance to lower my interest rate and they said something about a stimulus from the government ???   I actually have waited to talk to rep a couple of times and when I try to tell them to take my name of the their call list they hang up on me.  When I call them back I get an message from a T-mobile message center to leave a message and then it states the mailbox is full!  I'm retired so yes I took the time because it is so irritating to get these calls and try to stop them and be hung up on!  I am also on the national no-call list!!

I don't have a clue how they get away with this!  Is there any solution?  I have had my number for 16 years and I am not going to change it because they apparently appear to be unstoppable.  Does anyone know if we can we get T-mobile involved in stopping them?

All/most calls can be traced by using the CLLI code in U.S..
Since the caller id can be spoofed but CLLI code can-not.
Calls from outside of the U.S. will require assistance from that country.

It's time consuming; since the call may go thru multiple locations and even different telecom carriers and will have to be handed off so they can trace.

CLLI Code ? (Common Language Location Identifier Code) ? Used within the Telecommunications industry to identify a specific physical location and piece of telco switching equipment. (Pronounced "silly" code)..

I also went online and registered my number in Indiana's attorney general website and will file a complaint if they call again

I received a call from this number and pressed one to speak to a rep. I notified him on the do not call list and he stated they are not selling me anything and will continue to call. I notified him it did not matter, I'm not interested and Do not call my home, he just stated we will keep calling and hung up. I filed a complaint on the DNC website.
