Funny!  I am constantly getting these idiotic debt collectors calling for someone else.  I even have it on my answering machine that they are calling the wrong number.  They use robo-dialers.  They have to be calling anyone with live telephone service.  I got seven of these calls before eleven a.m..  I have reported this number to the FTC along with fifteen other collectors using hundreds of different spoofed numbers on the Caller ID.  It is past time a law with teeth was implemented that stopped these harassing calls.  It is beyond the point of ridiculous.  Ever wonder if Congressmen get these calls?  No way, guaranteed "no call" numbers.  When the next Congressional election comes along, write in Debt Collectors as your vote.

I too am a debt collector.  all you have to do is ask them to stop calling you.. tell them they have the wrong person, my daughter received another call from the again, twice since saturday.   By law the FDCPA, if you ask them if they are a debt collector they have to answer either yes or no.  If they do not answer you, you can file a lawsuit against them.  Tell them if you get another call from them AFTER you have stated you are the wrong person, you can SUE them...

everyday all day same crap!!!

I KEEP GETTING PHONE CALLS ON MY CELL PHONE WHICH ARE CHARGED TO ME, FROM 609-385-1119.  HOW DO I STOP THIS, THESE CALLS GO AGAINST MY MINUTES ON MY PLAN. THEY DON'T LEAVE A MESSAGE AND I CAN'T GET THROUGH WHEN I TRY TO CALL BACK.  SOMEONE SAID IT MAY BE A DEBT COLLECTOR, BUT I DON'T OWE ANYONE.  WHAT TO DO?
