do not answer,do not give them personal info

My father called me stating he received a call from a Cindy Davis with Nationwide Security and he bank information is on the computer and with his permission she can remove it for him. She already knew the name of his Bank and part of his account number and wanted to confirm...which he did unfortunately. She told him some crap about the do not call list and if he received any checks from solicitors that he shouldn't cash them because they were no good.  SHE IS NO GOOD!!  I just hope his bank can do something so that he doesn't lose any money.  I let him know that I found all the info that you and others posted, it is definitely a SCAM!!

Wanted bank info. as my account was circulating on the web and they were able to delete it and protect my credit. Ya sure!!!!

A woman called and asked for my banking information because there had been a 'security breach'. I refused and asked several questions about what company she was representing. She hung up and when I tried to call back the line was disconnected.

Called and asked (by name) if he could speak to my husband. I told him "no" and hung up fast. My husband is deceased. I don't have time for calls like this. Wish there were some way to get the authorities to close them down.

Will someone get the FCC to stop this call and investigate this annoying outfit

What would happen if this person got a hold of some senior citizen.

The man sounded like he was from Iran was a fast talker and said the company's name was Nationwide.  He was trying to get me to give her my checking account information!!  I didn't.  When i asked him about her company and more specifics he hung up.

You are wasting your time with the do not call registry. And your taxpayer dollars are being wasted on the do not call registry. It is used only by reputable companies. No action is taken to track down scammers. They simply maintain a database that 'can' be used by investigative agencies - but no agency is required to investigate and prosecute.

The database just gets bigger as the cost of maintaining it grows - but it isn't used for anything useful.

I found this out while trying to recoup money that had been scammed from my elderly money. I got more help from the third-party check processing company than I did from the bank or any level of government.

This has gotten totally out of hand.  Whoever this is starts calling me at 7 am, and continues to call every 15 -20 minutes up to as late as Midnight .  I cannot stand to pick up calls if I do not recognize the number, so I am forced many days to unplug my phone altogether.  I am on a do not call registry, but that has only increased the amount of phone calls I get from anonymous callers.  I am going to report this and hopefully, with everyone else doing the same, something will be done about it.  It is that or I am giving up my land line for good.  This is just ridiculous!!!

My 86 year old Mother actully gave this company her bank card number.  She is very hard of hearing.  When I saw this transaction, I called the company.  I first wanted to know what kind of company, and how did they get my Mom's name.  Mandy & Melissa would not give me info.  They wanted a call back number.  I figured if they could contact an elderlt person, and manipulate them into giving them their bank info, they could see the number I was calling from. I stated that I was her POA.  It was suggested that I fax them the POA papers.  I requested the fax #, and they just wanted a number to call me back at.  Mandy/Melissa kept telling me how rude I was.  I also would like to know how they get their inf.

Got a call at work this morning, for a very nice sounding lady, named Sharon.  Reported that she was with NATIONWIDE SECURITY.  She stated that my information was on the net.  When I pushed for where on the net, she got bitchy, and hug up.  I tried to call the number back and got a recording that the number was not in service.  How rude!!!

Receiving an average of two to three calls per day from this SCAM service (Calling itself Nationwide Security). Calls start at 7:00 am and continue hourly.  Will NOT provide any info. regarding themselves.  I AM going to use my best P.I. work ever to put a STOP to this! Just ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!

2 calls last two days. First one, a woman,  ask for my wife by name and wanted banking information.  Man called today spoke with an accent, identified himself as security officer and wanted information to remove my data from the internet.  Attorney generals office said to screen calls let them go to answering machine if not recognized.

Received a call from a rude woman at this number,  she wanted bank information.   When I asked questions she got very annoyed.    BEWARE!!!!     Total SCAM.

Got the same call saying all my info had been put on the "computer" (I guess she meant Internet) and that they would send me a letter, but when I started questioning her about her location, she became indignent. She claimed the name of the company was National Security.

This arrogant buy kept calling and demanding to speak to no one who lives here. He should be banned was working.

They just called my 88 year old dad and did their best to get his checking acct and credit card info.  I had to take the phone from him.  I didn't hear who they were calling from though.  I called the number back and its says number not in sevice.

CALLER ASKED FOR A PERSON BY NAME.  IDENTIFIED COMPANY AS NATIONWIDE SECURITY

They called my company cell phone,told me they found my personal information on the internet and i needed to get a pen,paper and my checking account info.so that they could remove it. I Informed them that was not possible because i don't have checking account nor do i have any credit cards and the hung up.

Repeated calls daily from this and other numbers around the country all asking to speak with Dorthy Robinson. Never anyone by that name with this number.

Same here, they called 3 times today. Our # belonged to a 76 yo woman before we were assigned it when we moved here. Sad, I am sure they were scamming her. We have spent the last 2 months reporting solicitous calls to the do not call registry.

What the heck is going on with this number.    
We are getting calls everyday from this number.
Noone answers on the other end.
We hold on till we get the busy signal.
This is really bothersome and need to stop it.
The FCC should look into this.

Call me 10 times a day.. I finally answered and the lady says that they would like to remove my bank account number from their list. When I asked who she was she hung up..... SCAM... PPL please get a regular job....

BEWARE------CAUTION----This company called my elderly father asked for his banking info. They would not provide a phone number. They said they were on a computer and would not provide any other info. When my father was trying to ask them questions they kept trying to cut him off. PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!
