Another scam.... I am starting to go thru fax paper twice as fast as last year because of bogus calls like this.

on 09/09/09, I received this scam fax as well. Just ignore it. Never provide any info to these scam artists. Who's Who? Themselves, Scamers, Loosers....

I'm sure this can't be a scam. I just received the Fax from Judy Collins and she told me I had been selected by the office of the managing director and there is no cost to be included. BULL, this is a pure scam and you can find out for sure for as little as $300.

SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This IS A SCAM!!! These idiots have been doing this for years. Their reply-to fax numbers keep changing from various locations all over Canada and the USA. The names of the so-called "editors" or "managing directors" or whatever other bulls**t titles they use vary slightly. For example, Jennifer Richards is also known as Jennifer Rivera and a couple other names. The names of these so-called "Who's Who" publications keep changing also. Even if you find their website there is no contact information other than an email form to fill out. No phone number, address or anything else. The fact that they have been doing this for so long is proof of how gullible people can be when it comes to their own egos.

"Princeton Who's Who of Executives, Professionals, & Entrepeneurs"  This is the fax back number listed on the sheet.  As well as 888-833-1296 to be removed from the list.

I did not receive a call from Whos Who in Canada's (don't confuse this with Canadian Who's Who) but did from Stanford after submitting an online form for a FREE listing.  Following a lengthy conversation "qualifying" me they tried to sell me on membership and got "short" with me when I said I wasn't paying for anything.  Do your research....Stanford and Cambridge Who's Who have 99% identical FAQ's - how is that possible if they are legit organizations?

Rec'd same fax with same removal number. Said it was from Jennifer crowley Office of Public Affairs

It's November 2010 and my office has received the same fax without a phone number.  What can you tell me?

The dreadful thing about these junk faxes is that you only get a crazy busy signal at the other end for the fax removal number.

Jennifer is still sending out faxes...we got the exact same one just now. Our candidacy was approved on Nov. 22nd..how nice.

Its a total scam because they addressed it to Helene which is not my name and it is the name all the telemarketers ask for when they call. " Nope , no Helene here." click.

Just recieved a fax today from Jennifer Crowler : Office of Public Affairs.  It was addressed first and last name to the owner of our company.  

I never answer back to stuff like this and am glad that I read all of these posts!

We got a fax yesterday from Jennifer Crowley Editor of Who's Who in Canada from Office of Public Affairs. Yeh right! Like they are going to put the named person on the fax on the Who's Who in Canada. Who is Who's Who anyway? What a scam. What a great way to get your personal information and id. I think that the Toronto Police Service and the Provincial Ombudsman would find this really something to investigate. Why aren't they doing so?

I got one today too.  Immediately Googled it to find all of your messages .... thanks for posting.  There is a government agency that monitors this kind of stuff called Phone Busters.

I just received a similar fax from the Office of Public Affairs, Jennifer Crowley and she is the editor of Who's Who for the office of Public Affairs. Certainly the government would find this interesting

Received the fax at our daycare addressed to the owner from Jennifer today...phone number came up on the phone as IPFax  with 1-604-630-9786

I just checked my call display and the fax number used was 604-630-9786 IPFax.
NOT 416-913-2673 like the one on the form faxed. HEADS UP!

I just got the same thing for Who's who in Canada from Jennifer Crowley. They even have a website for it. I believe this to be a scam as well.

Just got one today June 22, 2010.

Received fax from Jennifer Crowley, Editor, Office of Public Affairs (Jennifer Crowley) Who's Who in Canada. Fax stated that "I am pleased to inform you that you and your business have been selected to be published for free in the 2010 Edition of Who's Who In Canada. On May 14th your candidacy was approved..." The fax was personally addressed to the dentist I work for.  In the body of the letter, it said to fax the form back to 416-913-2673, but at the bottom of the form it said to fax the information back to 609-613-5917.  Thanks for submitting your responses.

We received a fax from Office of Public Affairs (Jennifer Crowley), Editor. The return fax number was 416-913-2673 and the sending company information on the header of the fax was WWEPE.  They gave a phone number of 888-833-1296 for you to call if you wanted to be removed from the list (notice they didn't say if you wanted your selection to be published for free to be removed) and It was addressed to the co-owner of our company requesting the same information as were the other posters.  

I was going to recycle it but curiosity got the better of me so I Googled it and found this site.  Thanks for the thumbs up folks.  I checked out the website:  http://whoswhoincanada.net/ and it was only an online application form. The faxed application did a ask for our Province but I notice that on their website they ask for state.  This is simply a way for folks to harvest fax numbers, email addresses and mailing addresses so they can send out junk mail.  Oh and I tried to enter garbage information on the online application form but it would not accept it.  

Our fax number is listed on the DNC (do not call) list as is our telephone number but I'm thinking that US companies don't have to comply with the Canadian DNC list.We get faxes from travel companies at least once a week which we recycle.  Also computer companies.  They're probably American companies.  I wish we knew how to remove our numbers from these scammer companies

Received a fax today (May 26 '2010) from Jennifer Crowley, Editor of Who's Who in Canada, with the fax back number 416-913-2673; addressed to individual with full name, informing of being approved to be published for free in 2010 Edition of Who's Who in Canada, requesting to fill out Company and Personal  information for accuracy purposes;
We are glad we googled it!!! Thanks everyone for the heads up!

Got a fax from Who's Who in Canada with the same name Jennifer Crowley (Office of Public Affairs). Thanks for all of your comments; I had my doubts but they are confirmed now.
