This is Loan Depot, a morgage refinance company.  They will call you if you request a mortgage refinance quote online.  Very persistent, even when you ask to be put on Do Not Call list.

Robocall to my cell trying to sell me a home security system. Wouldn't surprise me if the # is spoofed -- no data came back on a reverse lookup.

this number was a missed call on my cell. not answering it, or going to call it back.

Got the same call, said they were in NJ, I didn't answer & they left no message.

called me and left a message making fun of my answering machine.. prank callers.

Same with me --- I called back and was placed on the do not disturb list. What do I do next?

they left a voicemial on my phone saying "i was just wondering if you would go out with me, call me back babie bye"  i dont know if i should call them back??

It's listed on the caller ID as "National Direct Security Systems." It said press 1 for interest, 3 for do not call. I pressed one. The lady on the line, named Michelle, asked me if I was interested in installing some security system. I said no but I want to make sure this number is placed on the do not call list, because the press 3 option in the intital automated message dosen't seem to work. She apologized, and verified the telephone number she wanted to place on the list (ie: my number.) It was some other number number, not even mine. I said that was not the number, she said "Okay sir, I just need you to verify the number to be placed on the list" I told her if she called the number, it's listed on her screen.
She got all huffy and said "Well, you'll just recieve more calls" I said "May I please speak to your supervisor." She let out a deep sigh and said "My supervisor is just going to tell you the same thing." I told her no need to be condesending, and please let me speak to her supervisor, she hung up on me lol.

I am a telemarketer, I am also fortunate enough to work for a company that dosent scam people. I do fundraising for college alumni classes, people who already donate to us and we are not cold calling. I also have worked in telemarketing jobs for nearly ten years: Sales, inbound, outbound, everything. Don't be afraid to give these people a hard time, but don't yell, pick at them and make them feel insignifigant. When I was a supervisor for a telemarketing job, more employees would quit over frustration with people they would call who would not get off the phone with them. Ask for a supervisor, if the supervisor is dumb (which they often are) ask them to give you information on the location of the company they call on behalf of, including a mailing address. Ask them how the do not call process works, make them earn what little money they make.

I got a call from this number yesterday and today. i called back yesterday and got the "you've been put on the do not call list" but then they called again today....creepy. I wonder how they got our cell numbers, cause things like this are usual on my home phone

I answered and there was no one, just silent for about 5 seconds before I hung up, I have not called it back and have no intentions to.

I got a call from the same number for 2 consecutive days.  I need to know how I can nuke this person.  I am a very busy person so please if you have nothing important things to do in life, just volunteer in your local community so you make make yourself worthwhile in this world.

Got a call from this number at 4:36 this afternoon while I was at work. Since I didn't recognize who it was, I didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a voicemail. What I want to know is, how did these jerks get my cell phone number?! It's bad enough that I get bombarded with these stupid telemarketer calls all day long on my home phone, what now I am going to start getting them on my cell phone too?!?

I picked up the call it was a pre-recorded message. I hung up after "Hello, if you are interested.."

Yes, I got the same message when I called the number back earlier today.  Then the turkeys called me again at lunch time...missed that one.  Left me a pre-recorded message.  What a bunch of crap!

the company that owns the service is called Paetec. They can be reached at http://www.paetec.com and I would encourage you all to visit their contact us page and let them know they are supporting a b***s*** number. Calls me once a day at noon. Stupid f****rs.

This number showed up on my cell phone, so I dialed it back, thinking it was my niece in NJ.  The recording said because I called the number back, I would be put on the "no call list"  I have no idea who has the number.
