Car warranty scam; Called number back, got option of having my number removed from their list but I have done this before to no avail. Phone companies (carriers) allowing use of their services and equipment for these scammers should be just as liable for fraud that the scammers are (if they ever get caught).

Called said i needed to renew my warrany i dont have a warranty on my car asked what car it was for a and they hung up!!

I have received two calls from this number on my cell, on  a number that I just activated in late Jan., 2009.  The messages left sound as if they start in the middle of a recorded conversation.  The part I catch states that if I want "information about your vehicle before the expiration, press '7' and if you do not want to receive additional info, press '1'."  Whatever, I simply delete the messages as they come in.  Not about any vehicle that I have, new number not associated with my vehicles.  I did forget to put the new cell # on DNC registry, so off I go!!

I have received this call about once a month for 4-5 months. Never answered until today at 3:43pm eastern time. For the first 15 seconds all I heard was air moving past the phone and I kept saying hello, Then I heard a deep mans voice asking me why I am playing games? and I asked games? and he responded " oh so you can hear me? " and I answered yes, I can now, but I couldn't until that last sentence . Than I said now who is this? and he responded Something Attorneys Office and then the call cut off. When I tried to call back I got the message saying if you would like to be removed from our call. So that is my story, weird huh?

I got a call on my cell but didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. I called it back and an automated guy answered saying if you want to be placed on their dnc list to press one and then it just hangs up. It doesn't give any info to what the company name is or give you the option to talk to anyone.

Just got one at 1:30pm Central time.  I hung up in mid-sentence so I don't know what they were selling.
