Well this is just great :( I answered the call to and a person named Eric Watson said the same things I owed money and I would go to jail and I needed a lawyer. I got scared and I couldn't understand the guy so I asked questions but he said it was a old loan and if I don't pay i will be charged. I told him I don't have any money now and I could set up payments. He said he would take a payment to hold the account and pay when I can. I had to get a green dot card when I had money to pay and call him with the number. I did that and gave him the number on the green dot card and then he said he would call back with the confirmation number. He never did then I call him back and he said "oh i forgot to call u back" then he gave me a confirmation number. But before all this he called my local police department so I think and they told me who the guy was and I told the office my situation and then I had to call the guy back (Eric Watson) then he was willing to set me up with a date to make a payment. Is this real? Now that I already paid him money?

They're a joke. I gave them a number for the prosecutor and the FBI. Waste their time as much as they waste yours.

Reguarding my last message:

I called my lawyer and called my county police department and they are looking into it, so I called the guy who called me and supposedly his name was John Green and when I asked the guy is there a John Green and he said no so I hung up with him and called my lawyer and had to put her on 3 way with this guy and he said he was not a lawyer he was a regular guy from Packastand or somewhere othere than the USA and (which first clue it was a scam) he had everyones in the United States social security (watch out he has yours) and would not tell me why he has mine all he kept telling me was there are many Erika Schick in the world and I told him yes there is but no one has the same social so I kept asking him why do you have mine he refuses to tell me.. Then later in the conversation with my lawyer on the other end kept saying we are 2 dollar w***es and we need to come to his so called office to suck his d*ck for 2 cents and I was a bi*ch and so was my lawyer and he also kept telling me the cops and my lawyer is not going to do anything for me but they are and he will hopefully be in prison for this. The cops and my lawyer is tracking the number down and going to contact the Penn. state police. Who ever is doing this is stupid and childish so if you get a call from this number block it because he is a scammer and identity theif. I don't know how he would do this to me I have 3 kids its going to stop..

I keep getting a call from this number (610-340-4717) every single day and he would leave messages and finally I got fed up so I picked up and he was telling me I have charges against me and I asked what kind of charges and he would not tell me and he got all my information including my social right and he said he is going to contact the police department near me and have me arrested for obviously something I did not do because he would not tell me what was the whole thing about so basically its a scam and he hung up on me.. I called the number back and it was some factory and not the laywer scammer who called me..

I have been getting a call a day from Eric Watson saying i am going to jail and if my lawyer or i don't call them back then so help me.

I received a call from this number on my cell and my work number. The guy told me he was an attorney and was going to Jail. The guy with an Indian accent then attempted to ask me if I had ever been charged with check fraud and asked if I ever went to jail. I asked for proof and the gentlemen hung up! He called back and asked me why did I hang up the phone and then stated to me I want to F*** You.. I immediately hung up. He then called my place of employment and did the same thing! He said I want to F**** You!

He called Me This Morning At Around 8:30 & Left a message saying that this is a time sensitive message and that his name was Edward. He said that if I don't call him back then good luck in jail. I called back and he said that there were 2 felony charges being pressed against me and I better get a lawyer. Then he said you should have paid your loans on time. He got all my info right except my SS number. I then told him that it was not my real number and he rudely hung up. I believed he was a real attorney at first but now I know he is a scammer.

This same number keeps calling me and it's a foreign guy threatening that I'll be locked up for not paying a loan off to my account. And my account is closed!!! He said he's going to call the sheriffs office to get me my case number. I don't even know what he's talking about but he has all of my infomation, including my social security number, my phone number AND my address!!! Why??

Second time they have called with same message.  That I have a loan in default and I am in jeopardy of going to jail.  Asked first time for proof of their claim, never received anything from them.

dont worry just tell them off next time tell em you know there from india and there nothign but a scam its against the law for a lawyer or anybody to tell ur goin to jail or to tell u that you have a case thru the phone they must send u documents to ur house if it was legit dont fall for it i almst did they did that to me two months ago and i calld the cops and paydays loans and lawyers they said its a scam and so again they calld me today and i told them off they told me off as well i said what kinda professionals are you i hung up they calld me back n i said what they said f*** your mother n hung up so dont fall for it u can relax now since now u kno its all fake to get some cash out of u

someone called me at WORK claims that i took out a loan earlier this year, when i wasn't even in the country.  claims that they are charging me with 3 counts of theft, fraud and something else.  i asked them to fax or email me the information. person was rude and hung up on me.  i returned the call and they would not state their business.

It's a debt collector.
