I was also receiving phone calls phone them also but they stop calling when I told them to stop calling I know who you guys are. Yes they stop but that was last year.

As of today I received a letter from CFI investigations claiming I am under investigation for a dishonored check. The letter also had my ssn. I gave them a call back, the guy told me I needed to make some kind of payment. He went on with about law enforcement and felony and so on. Crazy thing was I did send a check around that date and some crazy thing happen where I had to resend the check, again. Thinking something went wrong again which I didn't understand because it was from 07' I then gave them my cc# to make a payment of $260.00 anyways. After a few minutes goes by something strange feeling I had told me to look them up. FRUAD was what I found. I had to cancel my cc because they were supposed to take a payment ever month.

a man keeps calling me over and over again...stating he is from CFI. currency fraud investigations.. He sounds to be from India.. and every one he transfers the call to is also..I tell him I want to speak to someone who is American and speaks English.. but everyone sounds to be from India..anyway the creditor he claims to represent..I had made a settlement with a law office that helped me pay off payday loans.. I had settled with CASH NET USA. more then 20 months ago..and have a letter to prove it.. I then asked him for the address of the company,, and he gave my address... when I told him it was my address, he began to argue with me. insisting, that I was wrong....
He also calls my work... which they are being very understanding right now, but I work at a medical outpatient clinic,, which I do medical treatments. so being called away is difficult and they try to tie up the phone system,, which compromises all the patients who attend this clinic..What can I do to make them stop?? they threaten me,, and I have even told them to take whatever action they need to...but they just insist I need to send them money...lol  how professional is that

A person from CFI...CURRANCY FRAUD INVESTIGATIONS.. has called me back to back 18 times in the morning and 18 times this afternoon... he has also called my workplace over and over and is putting my job at risk since I am a medical prof. at a clinic. and he disrupts my duties..the creditor he is calling about is CashNet USA,, which with the help of Oakview Law group.. I did settle and pay the amount due, more than 20 months ago.. When I had asked ROBERT OGLE. for the address of his company, he repeated my home address and argued with me that my information was wrong,, and that was his company address... I also told him that I had lost my job.. because of the harassing phone calls..

these people called me 53 times at work on Friday. everytime they called  it was from a different phone number, we recorded  at least 20  different numbers,  they call, ask for me and if I don't answer, they continue calling and harassing my co workers.  finally my boss talked to them and they told her that she was not the manager that she sounded like an operator.I finally talked to them and I played along with them asking them what is it that I have to do,  they said I owe them an online loan of$300 and if I do not pay it they will continue calling. I told   them fine to give me the info, they wanted my bank info I told them that I have no bank so they they told me to go to western union and once I am there to call them. before the call finished, he wanted to record me saying, I,  so and so owe 300 to advance cash America and I will pay them, I then saw what was happening  and I said no I was not saying anything.  when I hung up, my boss told me that I'd I recorded that,  that would have been a verbal agreement and I would be liable. I work in a government office and we were able to record the conversation and report it to the proper authorities.  this is a scam!  it's happened to many people. I  have never done an online loan.  be careful!

these people called my job today 53 times because I would not talk to them. they talk to everyone in my office including my boss.  they were insisting that she fire me. finally Italked to them. they state that I owe them a online loan of$300  which is not true. all the info they gave me is exactly what all the other stories on this site says.  it is a scam.  but they are screwed, federal government is  investigating.

I keep getting harrassing phone calls at work from CFI...currency fraud investigations they say.  This man sounds like he's from India (heavy accent) and calls me from several numbers saying that I owe money and that a warrant will be issued unless I pay this loan.  I have no idea what loan he is talking about.....he called me today over 10 times and after talking to him once I simply stopped answering.  He said his name is James Andersen and he left messages for me to call him at (909) 685-4821 and (717) 207-9099 AND THIS SOUNDS LIKE A SCAM TO ME!

I am getting phone calls constantly from this number.  I would not confirm anything...I know it is a scam.  Both individuals have heavy accents.  I'm not sure how they have my social security number but again - I did not confirm anything....

I keep getting calls from this guy about one of our workers. He keeps telling me that it is very important this person calls him and that he owes money. The caller says his name is Victor Lambert. He states his company name is CFI- Currency Fraud Investigations Department. I figured it was a scam and started forwarding the calls to our corporate attorney. The attorney has told them not to call back but they keep calling. So I keep sending them to our lawyer and hoping they get the hint, but from the sounds of it, they won't.

Just received a call from Jeff with CFI...Currency Fraud Investigation Department.  Got to love the use of "Fraud" in their title...as that is just what is behind all of this.  A scammer that can't speak English enough to be understood...first red flag for sure!!  I agree with an earlier post...ask questions.   The more questions you have the more the story will fall apart.  I reported the call and information I was given to the FTC.  I appreciate the people who took time to post to this site...as I was able to pull it up while having "Jeff" on the phone.

A man by the name of Randolph Price called our place of business and asked to speak to one of our employees. I asked where he was calling from and he said CFI-Currency Fraud Investigation. I told him we don't take messages or refer calls to employees. He became loud and belligerent. I finally stopped arguing and took his number which is 610-427-5128. I asked him where he was located as he was not english speaking, he told me he was calling from PA. He kept saying this was urgent and time sensitive.

here's another number 610-200-8803 they keep calling everyday from Currency Fraud Investigaton for David Henry.  Saying all the stuff quoted above.

Several men from  CFI and different numbers like 610783-3056 have been calling my business and harrassing me over confidential information about my employees.  I spoke to a supposed supervior today Kris Arva and made it know that he was to stop or I would file a complaint with the police.  They claim to be in Pennsylvania.

Phone calls several times a day stating they have 3 claims against me and are bringing me to court. Same thing happened last week from a company stating they were coming to my job tomorrow to arrest me. These guys are crazy and will ask u not to swear but they are quick to start swearing when u say u are contacting your lawyer and the police. Make the police report to protect yourself!!

This person called from phone number 610-235-0291 saying he was Melvin Dickison, you could barely understand him, he has left several phone messages. But this time he called my job, and asked to verify info, which i didnt , then he told me he was getting me fired, and hung up, i made a report with FTC, i wish we could all see him go up in smoke, he even gave me a dockett number for a fraud case against me!

When I ment that it was calling my cell phone. It was this CSI. They did very often. My called ID would say home and this annoying guy would be on the phone. Each time same voice. Different name.

This is completely a fraud!!!! Do not pay them!!!! I contacted the Attorney General Office for my state and  the Federal Trade Commission! I already got a response from the Attorney general office stating they contacted them and CSI (or whatever they call themselves) will not give them there address! I am warning everyone because they called me for a month. Using an auto dialer on my cell phone. (which a family member gave them) So there was a point it was saying someone from my house was calling and it was them. I truely hope that everyone does the same by calling your local Attorney General Office and the Federal Trade Commission they take a report and allow you to put something on your credit so it can not be used. They did have my entire social security number.  Needless to say since I called these agency's the calls have completely stopped! Protect Yourself!

I get calls from 610-427-5111.....Justin White. He calls 3 or 4 times a day.   I don't answer my phone and sometimes he leaves a message and sometimes he don't.

I had someone calling my cell phone 9 times in a row while I was at work and left the same message 5 out of those 9 times. Then that person called my work asking for me saying that he was from the cfi so of course my boss freaked the hell out and asked what happened.

    I returned the call and some Indian man who could hardly speak English began to tell me I had three files suits against me. He had my last 4 digits of my social security # and my email. Then began to tell me I was being recorded on a federal line and not to use swear words. I than told him I never took out a loan. He then began shouting, "you are a Liar! You are a Fraud! I have proof you got the money"

    That's kinda when I lost patience and told him that I doubt a government agency would have a third world speaker with broken English call me saying all this. I then told him I have bank statements proving that I never received any money from a loan and that I will give all my information to my lawyer if it comes to a law suit. As soon as I said that the call ended.

    I called back and of course assuming we were disconnected told him that I believe we were. He than admitted that he hung up on me. I told him I would report him to the BBB and he said, "go ahead" and hung up on me. This happen on 10-28-11, I will report back here if he continues to harass just so other people will know what to do if it keeps going on.

My husband received a message from Justin White saying that his friend - which turned out to be his uncles name is under investigation for fraud and he used my husband's name as a reference.  Same scenario, have to call them back.  Then he wished him good luck-what???? I freaked, thank God I googled the number before I called it and found this. What is wrong with these people?  Of course he was a foreigner.  Don't they have anything better to do than to steal information from people.  Go get an education and get a real job!!

Received a call from someone asking for one of my employees on a voice mail and recognized it as a scam.  My receptionist forwarded the call to my office and I had a good time getting him 'off script' by asking question about his location.  He gave a bogus location of 70 North Street in Allentown, PA.  I've already filed a complaint with the FTC but advice to others...first, don't give out any personal info and secondly....HAVE fun.  Try to get them off script by asking questions and gather all of the information you can for your report.

I threatened to slap them with a pork chop, burn down their tent and kill their camel, and they still call back>

I curse at these idians and i always tell em to take english class etc.. They would just keep the conversation longer! Annoying!

I got a call from this number today at my work place. I work for the federal government. The lady said her name was Christy. She was from Currency Fraud.

I'm getting similar calls as the others above. A man named Harry Jackson (has a heavy accent) called my job this morning and left a message stating he was from CFI and to not ignore this message and return the call immediately to (610) 427-5111.  He said he had the last four of my social and banking information.  Then, around 11am today a woman named Christy left a message stating the same thing and to return the call to (610) 427-5111.  I decided to google this phone number and I see several website where people have complained about calls from scammers with this phone number.  I already contacted my local authorities and are now going to file a claim with the Federal Trade Commission.

I keep getting calls at work from someone that doesn't speak english very well.. He call 8 times in the last 10 minutes.  My co-worker and then my boss started answering the phone and told him he can not call that this is a place of business.. he doesn't care, he said, call the police....go ahead...
The last call I answered and said GIVE ME YOUR NUMBER.. I want to give it to our corporate attorney's .. he gave me this number and now the phones have been quite for the last 5 minutes.. heres hoping it lasts. :)

This man by the name of John Lewis called my job and stated that a friend of mine is a fraud. And I need to contact her or I was going to be in a fraud investigation.

Yes, I have been getting calls from these people as well.  He calls himself Bob Peterson first, then when I call back, he says his name is Melvin.  He hung up on me as well and I was like, nice, he's gone, but he called back.  I told him I was contacting the BBB with his information and that it would be the last time I took his call.  He is not working for a professional company, he is a fraud.  He finally got the hint...for now.  We'll see tomorrow.

john lewis keeps  calling , can't speak english , very hateful , full of lies , won't say who  the com[any is  , just hang up on them
