Yea, same thing here. It's a phishing scheme, trying to get social security numbers etc. I blocked the number.

This indian sounding man called my daughter this morning said he was Police Officer Don Johnson, told her she owed $12000 and was going to be arrested.  When I got on the phone and informed him I was mom, he got very angry, but wouldn't tell me what police station he was calling from.

I got a message from a man with heavy accent saying he was a law officer and that he had my soc sec number and address and was going to file a lawsuit against me unless I called back.  I tried to call back but the line was busy.  I'm glad to see their is not too much to worry about since everyone else seems to think this is a fruad!

This caller called me today and left a message yelling at me! They said they needed my social security number asap. It was scary but don't believe them!!!!

I recieved the same calls on Feb 26.  I am disabled and had just gotten out of bed when This person called.  My back hurt something terrible so needless to say, when I did get through to the 610 number, I was not a nice idvidual and hopefully scared the crap out of him!  He said " I hear you laugh, I send investigator to your house right now" and then he hung up.  I couldn't understand the guy anyway.

I have since called my state attorney General and reported it as well as my local law enforcment office.

Rec'd call today.  Loud voices in background, so in a center?  Indian, thick dialect.  Saved vm.  Saying a hold on my SSN and investigating my address... which was not mine.

I recieved the same phone call as above saying i borrowed money two months ago online from a loan company and failed to pay it back.They then told me i was going to be taken to court and to have my laywer there becouse they are suig me for the money i didnt pay back.I asked what checking account number they used they didn't have that information on hand and would have to call me back tomorrow.I asked to talk to the supervisor and the guy hung up on me.My husband called from his number and asked what the debt was for and they told him they was to busy and they would called him back tomorrow.I called my attorney and they typed the number in and told me it was a fraud not to give them any personal info.I then contacted the company they said i owed money to and they said there is a investagation going on on the number they are calling from.So if you get the call aske them what was the account number the money went into and when the loan was taken.Also ask them if they called hold for a minute you have a laywer on speed dial and you want them to have a three way call with the laywer listening to them.

called and left a message on our answer machine and said his name was michael sounded like he was indian and i was going to get prosutcuted because i owed money i went through this before and now they are starting up again. i  went to my local police dept.

He did the same to my mom. DON"T PAY HIM ANYTHING!!!! IT"S A SCAM!!!!!! He said he was officer  Johnson and he said that he had blocked her SSN. Well, he said that she owed an actual loan agency that she owed them $366  and that if she didn't pay him that she would be sued and that they would settel for $366. okay number #1 No matter what you owe they cannot block your SSN! # 2 his name was Roger Johnson at first then he said Robert Johnson. #3 if he were a REAL debt investigator then he would have given my mom the number and name of the company she owed when she asked. #4 If they're serving u a lawsuit they will usually get the sherrif's department to come to your home and serve you with the papers. #5 THEY DON"T HANG UP ON YOU!!! If you've been contacted by this man then please report it to either the FBI or the secret service. THIS CRIMMINAL MUST BE CAUGHT!!!

I have been getting phone calls from these idiots for little over a week. The b.s that is coming out of there mouths is beyond stupid. I have had the same jerk call me and use two differnet names telling me that i owed 2 hundred dollars for a payday loan that i never took out When i refused he hung up Called me 2 hours later I tryed to pretend I was willing to pay but needed info were to send a certified check too He then explained that the only form of payment was a western union or creidt card over the phone or faxed (dumb dumb dumb really agencys accept all forms). At this time the amount went to 6 hundred. At this point i notified them that i was recording the conversation and was being reported to the fbi they hung up. I just recieved a phone call this morning stating it was now 3 hundred in change and if i did not pay them they would come to my house and steal it or drag me out of my house and kick the s**t out of me This is not the first time they made ideal threats. I madew a report with my local police and they been reported to the the ftc and the fbi I just hope someone does something soon because this is getting very annoying,

this morning a man called being very rude and mean when i told him the person he was looking for was not here. but the name he told me was officer robert miller from law investigations 610-713-8130 and that i had a case out on my name for fraud and that i needed to contact him asap or he will send the police to arrest me. and the i called back from my work phone it was busy busy busy.

I received the same scam. Caller claimed to be a "Officer Micael Smith". If you live in the Austin Area, I have called KXAN NEWS and the scam will be on TV to alert all of what is happening.

just recieved a call this morning from this number, i was unable to anwser because I was in a meeting @work.  They left a message saying that his name was Officer Shack and that he was calling from Law and Investigations. He mentioned that a law suit was filed under my name for fraud and to call back ASAP. Couldn't get through to the number as it's an international call. Some kind of scam going on.

I too got a phone call from this number, last wednesday from a supposedly "Officer Robert Wood" of the "law investigations department" he said that there was a lawsuit against me and that my ss# was blocked, the only info he had on me was my number and address. He called me again today and i told him that i owed nobody any money and that i have never even heard of this so called "Crown Lending Payday Loan" Company. When i said that, he said "Ok let me verify that with the company" and hung up on me. I have called my cell phone carrier and blocked this number from calling me again. It is a total scam!!! Do not fall for it!!

OMG - this guy not only called my cell but my work number too. He left a message on my cell but not work...The scam's the same. a foreign accent too heavy to understand from the Law and Investigations dept; line rings busy constantly;

How is everyone handling this? Do you report him to the police? Is there anything that they do?

I got a call on March 9th from Officer Denier Brown with an indian accent saying I was under investigation like everyone else here and they had my old address. I'm glad this ish is a scam cause I was about to raise pure unadulterated hell. The number is based in Philly evidently but that is probably just a switchboard to throw you off!! Azzholes gonna get a real azz beating if I catch em!!!

just received an odd call the same as most officer roberts (indian guy named roberts uh...no) asking me to return his call because there was lawsuit against me. I dont know how they got my social or address its actually pretty creepy so i hope this investigation is followed thru.

some guy called looking for me but i told him i wasn't home and he told me that i need to get in touch with his investigation firm because i was being suedfrom cash 1 never had a bank account so when he gave me the number to call back but he called me from a 6107138130 number but i was told to call back to a 4842442322 number and when i type in that number they had the same kinda stuff  on it when itold him that my lawer would need some information he called me all kinda bi$#$#$# and hoes and hung up so i called back i told him sounded like he was running some kinda scam he didn't wont to talk any more and he hung up again when i called a friend of mines who is a lawer he would no longer  answer keept sending us to his answering service leave a message for ext# 50004.a

Officer Robert Smith called, my home landline. His accent, which appeared to be hispanic, was thick, but the jist was I had some legal action being taken against me, then recited my name and address. Return number was 4842242322, and give my SSn.

I will take a recommendation from some here, and contact the FCC, however, I am unable to find where to report it on their site.

Got a call from 7143332439. Indian telling me I was in big trouble. I hung up then got a call from Attorney Bob Cooper at 6107138130 asking me why I hung up on the other call. He told me he had documents filed against me and would sue me. How do you stop this guys?

THIS GUY WHO SCAMMED ME FROM61071308130 IS NOW CALLING FROM 171768554663 THEYRE SAYING THE SAME GARBAGE SIX MONTHS AGO SO GUYS BE AWARE THEY GOT A NEW NUMBER AND ARE STILL AT IT. DONT WORRY ITS A SCAM!!! THEY'RE IDIOTS!!!!

keep getting calls from this same company. it comes in as private, 0000, or a law firm of cal.  He calls my work- says he wants to talk to my lawyer, that I have defaulted on my payday loan. he had the last 4 digits of my SS#, my address and my work.  He says if I do not give him my lawyers name he will provide me one, or I can set up payment arrangements immediately to avoid being arrested. I asked him for a court docket number, he said one did not exist until I was arrested. this was when I knew he was lying and this was a scam.  I advised him this was not a valid debt and to contact me in writing.  

  I do not have a defaulted loan.  after some research found he has been targeting people to try and get you to "make a payment" or to pay for there lawyer. THIS IS A SCAM!  File a complaint with attorney general! I did a couple months ago, now they are calling from another name and number (the 0000) new number they are leaving is 714-333-2439. Do not get suckered in by these creeps!

a man with a indian voice, left a message phone with my ss#, saying needing to call, about four the same thing, I got a lawyer...this company is a scam dont waste your money

The past month I've recieved calls from a person named Officer Michael Smith from a Law Investigations. He told me that a suite was filed under my name for fraud. This man called and harrassed me on my cell and employees at my job non stop, tying up phone lines. The university that I work for, contacted the Police department and the FBI. This phone number is now being investegated. Please people beware of this scam.

A heavy Indian Accent guy named Calvin Jackson called my office this morning, telling me a law suit has been filled against my social security number and I need to call him ASAP. if he didn't hear from my side today, he would take action against me. It was an unknown 610# so I decided to check it out, before I called it back, and I'm so glad I did....A Scam!

This guy is a real jerk. Tried the scams listed above on me. I harresed the hell out of him called him back at least 50 times. If you get this guy calling you tell him you heard from Brian Keylee (thats not my name but it is the name he tried to use as the person he was trying to contact.) But anyway tell him "you heard from Brian Keylee and he said he wanted to f*** your a** give him a call". Then just keep calling him back with the same message. He will leave you alone after that. But this this a** needs the haressment.
