I answered a call from this number.  The man, who had a strong foreign, possibly middle eastern, possibly Indian accent, said he was from a domain registry company and had new information on my domain and wanted to fax it to me within 24 hours.  I refused to give him my fax number and he said he'd try to email it to me again.  I tried calling the number and got a tone and a message saying that this number is no longer in service or is in a different area code.  Very suspicious.

Called at 10:30 AM; Caller ID Intl Gateway. I picked up and nothing immediate on other end.  When I hung up, another call from same ID (Intl Gateway) came in with differnt number, 612-326-5608.

I just got a call from this number and tried to call it back and recieved the same message as Laurie did.  Called at 10:54 AM.  Have no idea who this is or why they are calling.

I got a call at 6:53 pm EST and answered it also and no one was on the other line.  They waited till I answered and you can hear them on the line but no speaking.  I photo copied my telephone ID on cordless phone to show proof of this call today.  When I called it back on other phone line it was disconnected according to the recording from the telephone co.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry also so now if they are telemarker calling they will pay the price in out state.  It will cost them $10,000.00.

I know that they will prosecute because this is not the only company turned into the registry in a formal complaint and they do prosecute and they fine them in the amount of $10,000 and send you a letter stating they got them and they paid the fine.

This was the number listed when I received a call from a relative overseas, in S. Africa . . . I assumed it was a calling card connection.

612-246-3836 is coming from a company called Domain Registry Support. It is apparently a scam. (just Google "Domain Registry Support" to get the details.) It seems like they have a call center in India and are trying to get people to give them their fax number related to some sort of emergency with your domain name. There is no such emergency -- they just want to spam your fax machine or possibly try to take over your domain name.  I told the operator (with a very thick accent) that I had googled them and it appeared to be a scam and they hung up immediately. Ignore them.

I got a call from 612-246-3836 at 7:30am!! I didn't answer and no message was left.

Received a phone call this morning between 6:45 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Same scenario - a low "hello?" on the caller's end, then silence.

I just got a call from this number.  I answered and then heard a ringing phone, as if I was calling someone.  Very odd.  Very odd indeed!  I hung up immediately.

I started receiving calls from this number two days ago. They call me at compromising times. Today, they called me at 2:00 A.M. and 4:00 A.M. waking me up consistenly. I have saved both numbers and am trying to find out.

I heard some foreign accent like Liberians. This morning I picked it up, said hello but got no answer. I heard the Liberian woman talking in the background.

Called and did not leave a message.  I have recv'd three calls so far from this number and its becoming very annoying!

I also received a call from 612-246-3836 on my cell, and the exact same thing happened! How annoying. I have a 612 area code as well. (Minneapolis).

This number (612) 246-3836 called me at work on 3/10/08 and was silent for a moment before saying "Aahlow" in some sort of accent. I said "hello" again and they hung up. This is a huge time-waster at work since I get so many weird calls like this. But the caller ID doesn't always show a number.

I just got a call from (612)246-3836 asking for what sounded like the name Theo.  They kept saying "hello? hello? Theo? hello?".  I don't know if that was the name they were saying or not because I thought they sounded Indian.  Then about 30 seconds later, I got a call from (612)326-5608 from the same person (female) again asking for the same person.  When I said they got the wrong number again they said "oh I'm sorry, sorry, ok sorry" and hung up.

I got a call from that number as well as (612) 326-5608, (231) 648-1788, +2316481788.  The caller kept saying "Ya, hello".  It did sound to be a Spanish American voice.  Not sure what it is all about?

My daughter lost her cell phone at a Subway in Minnetonka.  When we got a new SIMM card for an older phone, we found that there had been a message (in Spanish - not yet translated, but soon) from someone at that number.

I expect that soon we'll be returning to that Subway to see if someone there can recognize the voice of the caller.

Same person calling over and over again, says hello ans that's it. Sounds foreign and sketchy. Name comes up INTL GATEWAY. They are changing numbers and calling back several times a day. I've blocked the numbers using *60.
