This number is a Clean Water Action solicitation call.

The caller ID says "CELL PHONE" and they call and ask for my wife, who's delegated me to get them to stop calling, I ask to be removed from their list, Aaron(?) tells me he doesn't know who I am, I ask again, he says he'll put us on a "once a year" list, then calls again the next morning, and the next morning and evening.  I tell him I have a friend who claims to be the state coordinator for Clean Water Action, and drop the name, he knows my friend but remains undaunted, I'm not a poster to these forums, but I'm even less of a "tell a guys boss what a dick the guy is" person.  If he calls again, I'll call my friend Ken and have him ask Aaron why he's such a dick.

I never gave them my number and I generally do not give out my number. My employer doesn't even have my cell number.

They call because you gave them your phone number.  They call until they get one contact.  If you don't like them calling all the time (twice a year), just answer your phone and quit hiding.  If you don't want people calling you  stop giving out your number.

This number is for a Clean Water Action solicitation call. They call early, late and frequently. Very annoying.
