Received a call last night on my cell in NY, saying it was someone from U of MN (which I have no relation with), and that they were having an issue receiving an e-mail from my company. Got my number as a number to call with issues, where I did sign a contract a few years ago with our IT company which had my cell number on it. He also knew the e-mail of a colleague who was also involved in setting up our IT company.

I asked him to send an e-mail to that e-mail address so we could look into it further, but received nothing as of today.

Called and didn't leave a message.  It makes sense if it might be the U of M alumni association, as I am a member.  However I refuse to give if they won't have the courtesy to leave a message.

Called 7:50 pm central - I didn't answer b/c I assumed it was the alumni association.  Called back & it got the 'number not in service' message.

I picked up because my roommate is from the Twin Cities. It was a guy with a thick accent asking for 'Romero' I think. But my roommate's name in Renee, so he might have been saying her name with a bad accent. I told him it was a wrong number and he hung up.
