The number is Allina Health Center.  They called me to complete my registration for a surgical procedure coming up.  No big deal.  If you don't have any business with Allina it's probably a misdial.  Definitely not a scammer.

Got a call from 612-262-5001.  It was Allina Medical Clinic appointment reminder.

Just a return call to sort out billing for Allina.

I do not have any business dealings past or present with Allina, so I have no idea why they would be calling this number.

because it's a fundraising call, they're exempt from the telemarketing do not call list. you can, however, opt-out of receiving future calls by telling the person one the other end. if they don't remove you from their list in 24 hours, they'll receive a heavy fine and you could probably take legal action -read the new HIPPA rules - eveyone's medical information is pretty much floating around when it comes to fundraising.

If the information is so important that you have to call 5 times a day, how about leaving a MESSAGE?  A tiny bit of thought says that if you're calling my HOME phone during WORK hours you're not likely to get me right?  Also, hiding behind "Unknown Name" isn't going to get the phone answered.  Try using a legit ID.

They called for a donation starting at $100.00. Seriously. ! Why have I signed up for the "Do Not Call" list?  I told her to remove my name from her calling list. Hope they don't have access to my medical records as well.

This number calls with medical appointment reminders for me! Nothing wrong with that.

This same number called me and asked for a John Lynner... No one knows who a John Lynner is in my family which is weird...

I called the main Allina business office. (I'd set up a payment plan with this number but then got nervous that I'd fallen for a scam)

After calling Allina directly, I learned that this number IS one of their numbers, and the lady in the main Allina billing office had access to all the information I'd given to the other lady the day before.

If you are contacted by this number, it usually means that your bill has been passed from their main billing office into the Allina collections office. (It's still in-house, but it's a step past the main office.)

There had been some confusion as to our billing address, but after working with the two different departments, we got things figured out.

Allina/United Hospital of St. Paul left message to return call at 612-262-9000. Called the number back, sat on hold for a while waiting for "next available customer service rep". They were calling me looking for insurance information from my recent stay at United Hospital to have my gallbladder removed. No big deal....would rather give them the info than get a large bill in the mail!

Thats an Allina Hosptials & Clinics phone number. Either they were calling you for a donation or you about a medical bill. Hopefully it was for a donation :-D
