They called twice today and didn't leave a message each time. We don't have a Target Visa nor did we apply for one.

These calls are from Target National Bank.  You have a Target Visa that is delinquent.  If you pay your bill, they will stop calling.  (I say this, but I still haven't paid mine.)  Good luck to all of you.

I'm in the same boat!

I received a call from this # claiming to be Target. I had paid my bill and on time. I was asked to set up an automated payment plan ( which I did not) and when they tried to verify my info they stated my ex husbands contact number ( ex of over 10 years and I have NEVER been associated with his current number)

Got a call yesterday from GDF financial about some bogus debt I had paid off years ago. The next day this number started calling. I didnt answer it because I assumed it was probably related to the %$##%@#@ that called the day before. Obviuosly not a coincident. So, ignore the number, its surely a scam.

I got a call from this number on my cell phone.  It is with Target...When I got home from work I call the number and told them I didn't have an account...they looked up the number they called and someone else's name was attached to my cell number...which I've had for many years...they said they were sorry and would remove my number from their list...very simple to take care of.  They have a lot of customers who make up phone numbers on applications and this is what happens.

My account is in good standing and this number calls me several times a day.  When we answer it the other end hangs up.  How do I make the calls stop!!

called 4x today.  i do have a target visa but it is paid on time every month.  in fact, i just received a statement in today's mail verifying this.  i called Target directly and they said they had not been trying to call me so i would chalk this one up to a SCAM.  There are so many of these SCAMS going around right now.  I'm not answering for any phone numbers i don't recognize!

I wish I could pay but I cant... I tell them I wont ever pay and they call like a million times a day 8:00am-10:00pm. I hate being in debt

These guys are sooo stupid. They call our office nearly everyday and ask for an employee. I always say "He's not here, would you care to leave a message?" They always say no and hang up. How do they know that i am not the employee they are looking for? (I am not, but I could have been). What a waste of time and dollars. And these guys are probably going to be looking for a bail out someday, like everyother freakin' bank out there!

They do the same to me....continually call all the time but then no one ever comes to the line. They call my cell and burn up my minutes so I just ignore the call all of the time.  If someone calls me and doesn't answer right away...then they don't really need to talk to me.

I do not have a Target Visa! They continue to call. When I pick up, an automated voice tells me to 'hang on for an important announcement.' I stayed on the line in order to get this taken care of and i got the 'please stay on the line' speech 3 times! I am so frustrated! I will NEVER sign up for a Target Visa and I'm considering not shopping at Target anymore.

I keep getting calls from them as well.  Twice daily for the last few days.  It is registered to Target, but I've never given them my cell number, so I have no idea why they'd be calling me.

It IS Target Bank.  They called twice and I originally thought they were scamming me.  Bravely, I called the number back, and they wanted to verifiy purchases on it because I rarely use it.  For once, it wasa legit call!

This number has been calling my cell phone all day!! I also have a Target credit card with a $0 bal. so it can't be that and I am already married.

I keep getting a call from 1-612-307-8004: thye never leave amessage, but once on a bill there was this number from target stores credit cards

They just called and did not leave a message. I live in Ohio, and it's Sunday the 25th, 2009.

I do have a Target credit card and I am behind in my payments.

Someone said my name and either hung up or was disconnected. I do have a Target Visa card and they have been bothering me on other numbers.

I get calls daily from this number on my COMPANY OWNED emergency after-hours cell phone!  I have never registered on bridal website and certainly do not give out the WORK emergency cell phone number.  After reading on the internet, this number belongs to Target and has something to do with Target Visa card payments.  Have never owned a Target credit card.  Does anyone know how to get these calls to stop?

This is definitely Target RedCard VISA. They call even though you are not behind on payments, but they seem to want to get a jump on things before they get out of hand. They even call all day Sunday, which is illegal in California. No debt collection or telemarketing calls are allowed in California after 9pm or anytime on Sunday. I wish the Attorney General of California and/or Minnesota would jump all over Target and sue their a***s. The states could use the money.

612-307-8004: Upon answering, a pre-recorded voice identifies with Target National Bank--and asks you stay on the line to speak to someone. This is way too much like a SCAM call I got not long ago, concerning "car warranty".  

I choose to ignore the call. However, Target National Bank DOES appear legit and is tied in with Target store chains--from what searching I've done on the subject.

What wriggles these guys from the DO NOT CALL Registry is IF you own a Visa card or a Target credit card.

I get calls to and I'm a guy.  I have lots of credit cards but ontime.  You might be able to block it with your cell phone service....
