I received 2 calls from this number, each time I answered they hung up.  On the third call, they said they were worked with merchant cards, I told them I wasn't interested and to please take me off their call list - ten minutes later, they called again! and when I went to answer to complain - they hung up!

A woman called me and Said she was calling about acheck.She said have you talked to anyone so far and I said yes....there were several calls from scams telling me I won a swwepstakes..and or publishers clearing house..They wanted me to send $ 500.00 ..as soon as I told her I called and filled a complaint with Publishers Clearing House the line went dead and I tried to call get back but got a mssg the circuit was busy..tried again and the line was constantly busy!! Obviously she is also a.scammer!

This call keeps coming through to me saying I have won a sweepstake of $500,000 but before I can find out how to get this money they hang up.  Wish they would quit calling.

Had calls from 612-345-6789 and 112-345-6789 in the last few days. No one on the line after it rings. Really annoying.

call from 612-345-6789, answered, no one there, hung up.

On Mar. 4, 2008 we got 2 calls each from 612-345-6789 (Minn) 512-345-6789 (Texas) no one on the line for any of the 4 calls.

March 11, 2008 they called my cell phone and didn't leave a message. I am finding that these calls happen after on-line purchases.  The other number that shows up is Tel # 123-456-7890.
If anybody else notices a correlation with making a purchase, than we should start mentioning the store.

It's always telemarketers "spoofing" an id ...i've made it practice not to answer numbers which have no  caller id

Received a call today. the 123456789 makes me suspicous

After successfully blocking a telemarketer based in London Ont which called 3 times a day for 3 months straight on behalf of HBC, we now get calls from a slew of numbers always long distance mostly from US area codes and ending with 6789. The people on the other end seem to be using some kind of call relay, similar to skype, coming from overseas, perhaps India. Seems the telemarketing pricks found a loop hole around the Do Not Call Registry, no way to stop except bring this to the media. Anyone have the personal phone# of the HBC marketing head?
