I just got a call from these folks asking about my magazine subs. The name that showed on my phone was Allan Foodym who is someone I actually know. But how did they know this? Are they gaining access to my phone records? I called back and asked them about this and they said that was the name of the owner of the company. As I was writing this message they just called again but hung up. What are they phishing for?

Got a call from this number & Alan Farnham showed up. I don't answer calls I don't know.

I never answer the phone when I don't recognize the number and they don't leave a message.  Getting tired of all the calls though.

Got a call from Alan Farnham--am on the DNC, for years--didn't answer.

will not stop calling but will not leave a message.

We just received the same call from the same number and it was Alan Farnham on the caller ID. We did not answer it.

Some guy trying to get information on what kind of magazines I like and trying to sell said magazines to go along with the ones I have already.  Sent complaint to Do Not Call registry!

Caller Id says Alan Farnham....no message.

I will also be reporting them...they have committed credit card fraud and identity theft

This company states that I am being billed for these magazines that I did not subscribe to.  They stated that regardless of whether or not I want them or have been receiving them, I am still being billed for them.  this company is running up debt and bad credit on me.  I cannot afford an attourney to help with this.

This company needs to be stopped.

This company just called me trying to get my account information from me telling me to update with them. I dont have a magazine subscription with them I'm calling the BBB.

Hard to get them to take you off their list when they hang up on you.  They also tried to get me to "renew" my subscriptions, when I don't subscribe through them!  One person told me one thing & then transf'd me to their "supervisor" who told me something else entirely, including that I was going to auth them to charge $19.95 for each of my mags to my CC.  When I said no & suggested they listen to the recording because the prior person didn't say anything about that, they told me I had OBVIOUSLY misheard!  I said no, I didn't mishear & they were not auth to charge me anything...they hung up.  When I called back for info on them they refused to give it!!!  What legit company does that???
When we get calls, I'm more than willing to listen, but don't try to con me into something or change whatever has already been said.
This isn't about regular "telemarketing calls" and the majority of the people here are already on DNC lists.  This company is violating all sorts of proper business practices.  Being nice doesn't work for this company, therefore being vigilant is the next best thing.  Try looking beyond your tunnel-vision!

Called me to "verify I'm happy with my magazine subscriptions". Then tried to get me to pay $19.95 each to renew them!  Told them no...they hung up on me.  I called back to get info so I could report them they refused to provide any info other than name of "Twin City Reader's". CID was Farnham, Alan at 612-412-9056.
May not be a scam, but, if telemarketer, they have very suspicious business habits.
They're not listed with the BBB, but I'm reporting them anyway and will try to report to FCC too.

My caller ID says "Alan Farnham"......I guess they think you will pick up if it is from an individual instead of a telemarketing company....

Here is to all you complainers out there about getting a phone call. Quit complaining/crying get on the do not call list if you want which is a joke in itself because it isn't updated proper. If you owned a company you would need to market it. Telemarketing brings trillions to our economy and you people in the US are driving it to other countries. It will never go away. So be polite and professional and say take me off your list. That person is just trying to take care of their family. You spend more time going online complaining and being negative about everything. Look beyond your shallowness.

I just got this call...612-412-9194. I did NOT answer it, as I am on the DNC unwanted call registry. I read all of these comments. and am so glad that I did not have to put up with the harassment too! The name on my Caller ID said Minneapolis, MN. How can we report this??

So I just did a days worth of research on this.  This company's LLC is registered under a Dawn Gajewski.  I searched Dawn in the Twin City area and then decided to see if she had a spouse.  Indeed, and he popped up as "President" of TC Readers.  His name is Derek Gajewski.  Feel free to file complaints and direct them to the Gajewski's... they are running the scam.

"Robert"...when I asked another question, he hung up on ME.  This should be outlawed.  Or, is it?

I got a message from Twin Cities Reader about the magazine's ive been getting . Seemed like total spam although the lady on the other side of the line was very nice and sweet.

This number has been calling my mom. Every time she answered the phone a man wonder just breathe into the phone and hang up. We had to immediately contact 911 that last time he called because he then threatened to kill me and my mother. Please get this number reported!!!
