This is a tracking and phishing number. They have no intent on getting you to speak to them. They are merely tracking you. Once you've picked up the phone, they've nabbed information about you. It is politically motivated! It truly is Big Brother watching you!

I received numerous phone calls from this number, they left no message.  I decided to block my name and number and call THEM back.....I got a recording that stated "If you wish to be removed from our call list, please press 1"......of course, I did so.  I have an unlisted number.  I feel if anyone calls my house and the caller ID does not identify who they are and they don't leave a message, then they are obviously some annoying salesperson or survey taker!!!

Further to my post from yesterday. This number called twice on 8/1 and now 4 times on 8/2. This last time I simply answered it. It was some kind of survey. They could not tell me for whom the survey was being done. I asked where this person was physically located. He informed that he was in Pensacola, Florida. I commented that the caller ID read area 612, which was a Minneapolis area code, and that he was obvious calling Minneapolis, which he acknowledged. I did state that as long as he called under the false premise of being in Minneapolis, it would then allow me to simply take his time and tell him any false response I desired, because he had called misrepresenting the survey. As this was the sixth call within 24 hours, I asked that the number be removed from their calling base, which he said he would do. And he actually was polite during the entire conversation. Of course, there's not much chance they'll actually remove the number.

Knew my name, and hung up b/c I was "cutting out."

I have been getting repeated calls from 612-424-5634 over the last week or so.  Lately it has been at least twice a day.  STOP IT!!!   I will add to my cell "firewall".

Caller wanted to know if I wanted 4 more years of frrebies to freeloaders not wanting to work...Or Illegal aliens taking jobs....Criminals having more rights than honest hard working Americans.....and dead people voting...

Political calls, surveys, charities, etc., are exempt from the Do No Call list. Suspect we'll get a lot of these in the next 90 days. We simply do not answer any calls that are  not clearly identified. And most have a company policy not to leave a voice message anyway. We hear the phone ring a few times, but it then goes automatically to voice mail. We simply avoid all this type of calls. If I'm sitting right at the desk, on the first identification, I simply lift and immediately hang it up. That's another way to handle it without letting it get on our nerves!

yes got a call from this number...left no msg...ignored it.  glad I did answer after seeing these comments.

2 calls from this number(I'm not sure who they are or what they were calling for). They left no message and when people don't leave messages, I do not place any importance in them or what they have to offer either. We're supposed to be on the DNC list, but so much for that working I guess.

Two different phone calls, not even an hour apart, claiming to be from a "national survey organization" (yeah, right. . ..) , and asking questions about presidential choices.  The intent of the questions seemed aimed at changing voters' minds towards Romney, since both callers terminated the calls when it was clear that the answers I was giving them did not skew Republican.
