this man joseph Campbell  posted and ad on craigslist saying that he was looking for a housekeeper in the south jersey ad and for me to send him my information so he would be able to send me a check via mail because of his work schedule. and included in the check would be the painters fees for me to pay them.. apparently its a scam because I found this website containing the same number that was provided on the ad.. I immediately spammed him, and if he sends me a check I am immediately going to take it to the police station.

i also received this phone number from a person on craigslist who wanted to hire me as a house keeper... glad i didnt reply

Same issue here. Put an ad on craigslist asked to be texted for a cleaning business. My ad or all of my ads, state that I can smell a scam right away. It went straight to spam and I'm going to flag it if i see it advertised on craigslist! Beware y'all do not EVER send money to anyone asking you to do so. That should be RED-FLAG NUMBER ONE!

scam! report this number to the police. I am going to look it up to see what phone carrier it is and report them the whatever phone company. What a total piece of s***!

I posted on craigslist too, somebody by the name of Joseph Campbell contacted me by email and said that he
wanted to hire me as a housekeeper for his place in my area.  Three days a week, 2 hours a day. It gave a text only phone,612-564-8771.  He sent me a check today for $2,500, he wanted me to either cash or deposit the check, (money for cleaning supplies, first weeks pay, and money to cover the painters for his place.)  I had my bank check it, they red flagged it as a possible scam. I have all his texts, and the check, wondering what I should do?

I have a resume posted on Craigslist too, and this person replied with the job offer for a housekeeper needed in my area 3 days a week 4 hours per day with a laundry list of what needed to be done! And at the end, listed 612-564-8771 as a text only number for a faster response! I also flagged the response as scammer with Craigslist.

I put up a position wanted ad on Craigslist , I received an email from a place stating they were adp payroll. Since the number given could only receive text messaging , I thought this to be rather odd. Googled the number, low and behold came across this page. Jerks ....

Yea i got a check from taxfree shopping and on the last i went to cash it to the bank and what happen it got bounced so they stole from me 1200 can you believe that the person that i sent it was brian schott so it was stupid i am trying to find out who they are because the police dont want to help so what should i do ??

I received a respond to one of my ads on Craigslist. I received a check in the mail to buy my Product and it was $1800 over the amount I was asking for and they asked me to cash it and return the remaining funds. If that don't sound like a scam, I don't know what does. I did research before going to the bank and find this site. Wow! People!
