The same as everyone else on this forum.  I called the number back and they refused to tell me who their company was...it sounded like a boiler room operation.   Lots of voices in the background.   I posted a compliant with the National DNC site also.

Claimed to be MN DMV stating that I am paying too much for auto insurace and to press 1 to find out more. I decided to play along and press 1. The phone then hung up.

Why not find out who they are?

I called them back, they call themselves "Insurance Center", and I was told the "agent" was going to try to connect me with a Farmer's agent in my area.

Now that I have that to go on, I can sue them. They could owe me $1500 for the one call, calling my cell phone with a predictive dialer. It's really a good idea to read the laws that protect you from telemarketers; you could make some money.

They called my number regarding and I called back then they recording was directing me to press some number to speak with the an operator. I cant deal with this any more. I had also another call from IOWA with same thing, auto insurance.

They don't dial just your number, their machine dials all the numbers in sequence.

The same as other folks...I keep pressing 3 to remove me from the list but they keep calling!!

I got a call this morning on my cell phone.  It showed a voicemail icon, but when attempting to listen to it I was met with dead air for a recorded message.

Talk to them any b.s. for a few minutes or as long as you can afford. The wasted on-line time is what telemarketers hate most.

I received the same recording.  I do not own a vehicle.  I take public transportation.

This number calls me all the time.  I just got a call ten minutes ago.  Normally they say nothing when I answer.  This time, I told them to stop calling me, and I said that immediately when I picked up.  The person on the other end called me a b!tch and hung up!  SOOO reporting this!

When I didn't answer, the caller left a message concerning insurance rates.

I got the call and will be putting my number on the Nationsl Do Not Call List.

Just got the same call on my cell, left no message.  I live in Minnesota by the way.

Called.  Hung up.

Recording from this number:  Said they were from the Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles and that I was paying too much for auto insurance.  This is a BIG LIE.
The MN DMV requires that I have insurance, it doesn't care or even know what I am paying for insurance.  Nor would they contact by phone, their communication is always through US Postal Service.
This number is SPAM

I just got a strange phone call from this number saying that according to information leaked by the Department of Motor Vehicles, I am paying too much for auto insurance...

Message comes on refering to 'department of motor vehicle' - they are trying to deceive people into thinking it is a call from authorities - and the minute you ask a question they hang up on you...  I called back and asked to talk to a supervisor and the lady insisted she is the supervisor and when I told her her message is deceiving and her tele marketers should not hang up on people the way they do she start telling me how I didn't understand the message and how it is not deceiving for everyone else.   Is there an authority that oversees such gross harasment of the public at large?  We need help here.

GRRR how do these idiots get your number??? Its spam about asking if you need help lowering your auto loan!!!! You'd need a car for that!!!  SPAM just like in emails..where they get the number I'd LOVE TO KNOW!!!

I got the same thing!

Missed a call from this number and received a five second message of what sounded like wind noise.

"We called you in reference to a reduction in your current auto loan rate, if you wished to be removed from this list press 3" - pressed 3

Likewise.  I received a call - no message left.

I just received a call from this number too. No message left.

Called and did not leave a message.

recieved a call from this and on the do not call list.  It from MN but I live in FL
