They don't put much money into selling the paper. All phone sales are now outsourced.

Tell them it's a cell phone. They are not allowed to call cell phones without permission from the cell owner.

You need to be specific. If you say you get the paper, you should make sure to tell them you get all seven days.

They are not allowed to call before 8am,so I doubt it was 7am when you got the call. You shouldn't call the police, but tell them to put you on their do not call list.

Star Tribune - rude and relentless caller. Told them to not call me again and they called me back 4 hours later!

I get this call all the time to... next time they call tell them that you do not want to be called again and if you receive one more call you will be forced to take matters to the BBB or the Attorny general. This is not considered threatening then they are the ones harrassing you. This usually works.

I told them what another victim suggested, tell them you ARE getting the paper, and they take your number down.

StarTrib keeps calling about restarting my subscription.  I asked the last one if they've even read the paper lately, as the quality has taken a real nose dive.  She just laughed!  They don't seem to get it.

People from the Star Tribune call me constantly, and while I politely tell them each time that I am not interested, they continue to call. They have even started to get pushy and rude on the phone, as though I am to blame for the failure of their paper, rather than the shoddy, 3-day-old journalism. Get with the times, Star Trib!

I get calls from this number at least 9 times a week. I have never subscribed to this paper. Thank God for caller ID and an answering machine!! Why would I want the paper with everything on the internet!?!

Same here, those idiots at the star tribune keep calling me.  I don't owe any money at all either, they want me to restart my subscription.  Even if I wanted to at this point, I still wouldn't because they have harassed me so much!

Finally, I just added this number to the Black list on my cell phone.

Same situation, multiple times per day, probably 10 calls a week.  Tried telling them not to call, put me on do-not-call, etc.  The last time I answered and said "No, you must have the wrong number."  Haven't got a call in 2 days, so maybe that's the trick.

Call me at work 3-4 times a day!  I called Star Tribune and they put me on their Do Not Call list, but they still just keep calling.

I lied and told them I currently get the paper and they said "OK we will mark it down so we don't keep bothering you" and they haven't called since.

Have asked star tribune not to call a million times! They keep calling from this number. They should put less money into calling people and more into the paper. Then people might start reading it again.

Somebody from this number calls me 3 or more times a day, sometimes at 7:00am.  This number is for the Star Tribune.  I have repeatedly told them that I am no longer interested in renewing my subscription but it doesn't seem to matter.  I left them a message this evening indicating that I would call the police if somebody calls me again.

Same deal they call and call and call my cell number. Stop the madness......

They call me over 3 times a day. I have asked them not to call me however they still do call!  I do not owe them anything nor would I like there services.
