They have been calling our business every morning for the last 2 months. As soon as I answer they either hang up or so they are trying to verify our information to continue sending us a free magazine subscription (that we don't get) When I call the number back it says I have the wrong #...How can I get this to STOP?!?!

ANNUAL AUDITS - THEY CALL REPEATEDLY ASKING TO 'UPDATE' OUR INFO AS IF WE DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. IT'S REGARDING A SUBSCRIPTION TO A MAGAZINE WE DO NOT GET. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TWICE TO THE NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY!!

Annual audits do not stop calling.

Just read there is some free system to deal with spam calls, will look into it.

I saw "Annual Audits" from 612-808-8113 show up just seconds after a hang-up call from "Contact Center" (317-559-5610), so I ignored the call (to my civil service work phone).  A minute later, I was a little surprised to see that the caller had actually left a voice mail. I played back the voice mail: after about 30 seconds of hearing someone's breathing, with the sounds of a call center in the background, my caller rather jovially shouted "O. P. P.!!" into his microphone and hung up. It was almost amusing enough to compensate for the aggravation.
What I don't understand is this: why aren't all phones designed so that the user can just push a button and have all calls from this number immediately hung up on, without ever ringing? Given caller id and modern digital technology, it seems like it would be an easy thing to program, but noone seems to offer phones with this capability. If you want to block a number, you have to pay your phone company for that service. Have the phone companies rigged the system to prevent this simple innovation so that they can keep charging for a service that would be better implemented in the telephones themselves?

Called and hung up said Annual Audit - They waste time by calling because now I am going to block their number if you call back that is the rule- they can continue to call and hang up or try to continue solicited business because once you have called them they have a record even though you get a message of all circuits are busy best thing to do is block their number if you can

They left a "message" on my voicemail. I assume it was a "professional magazine" telemarketer, as opposed to a "professional telemarketer" for magazines. You could hear the sounds of their call tank in the background for about 15 seconds, but no one actually spoke to leave an actual message. This is an indication of how uninvolved they are with their task at hand.

True, except that a verbal "contract" - which they say you have with them - does not stand up in court, so they're not going to "sue" you to get money for their bogus "product".  As always - no proof of debt received via mail = no debt owed to the caller.

BEWARE!!!!

When you say yes, they use it as "proof" you agreed to have a subscription renewed, or whatever they are peddling.

When they ask for your name, ask who THEY are first. "Who is calling, please?" Then ask why they are calling. Never, EVER answer in the affirmative. It's how these scammers do their "Gotcha".

This organization has called aproximately 4 times a week over the past several weeks.  The call went to my direct line and not through my Admin.  I finally picked up the phone expecting a telemarketer, and a telemarketer is what I got.  Specifically, they were offering a free industry related magazine (and they knew what my industry was) and I simply needed to provide them with my information.  I asked if she knew what company she was calling and she did.  So I told her that if she knew that (as well as my direct line), then she should know where to send her "free" magazine.  She said she needed to confirm my name, job title, etc.   I told her I was not interested in a magazine and she politely said "thank you" and hung up.  The so called "industry" magazine was not one that I had heard of before so I would advise you not to provide information.  On a positive note, as soon as I told the telemarker that I was not interested, I never received another call.

I keep getting calls from them also.. The first time I answered they claimed to be my Cable Provider and wanted to update my info., I new right away it was a scam, since I don't have cable so I hung up.. Then they didnt call for a couple days, and it started again.. I just let it ring for a couple weeks and then I answered again today and they were wanting my info to renew my subscription.. I said I didn't have one and she said it was to send a free one.. I told her I wasn't interested.........Just curious if they are getting names and numbers from Rabbit T.V. because I had just bought one and had to create an account to use it before all this started. Has anyone else signed up on Rabbit T.V. That has had this happen?

This number keeps calling our main switchboard (state government), waits for me to pick up the phone and hangs up before I even say the name of our administration. When I call the number back I get a recording "all circuits are busy now, please call back later." I'm keeping a copy of the number written down on a sticky on the phone and when this number shows up, I'm not picking up the phone.

Same as other, Annual Audits (612) 808-8113. Person wants to talk to someone about magazines.  When I told her to remove my number from theirs, she hung up.  Two days later, called me again.  I now just don't answer.

Same as everyone else. Every single day these people call, very rarely will I actually have someone respond on the other end, but when they do it's the magazine renewal thing. What is really so frustrating is I am a receptionist at a small company, and our phone is pretty busy with customers calls, so they are causing me to miss some calls by picking up the phone and having no one there!

Tired of daily calls from this number. Most of time no one is there, but today a woman actually was on the line. But when I asked her why they keep calling me, she hung up on me.

Ditto to the above. Young woman asked for me by name (she had a slight accent, possibly Filipino) when I said yes, it's me, they hung up. I will put in a complaint to my cell service to see if their fraud unit has any further information.

I also got a call from these people who specifically asked for me and then when I answered, they said they had the wrong number and hung up.   I wonder where they got my name & phone -- maybe a petition I signed on line.  I somehow doubt it's business related unless it's Google again trying to solicit us.  Sounds like something Acorn community organizers do.

Lady called stating her name as Maria Martinez stating she was with internet retailer magazine and wanted to update my free subscription. When I said no, she offered to just email the "magazine" to me. I told her that if I subscribed to them, they already have my email and she did not need it again, she stated "We are in New York and we had a heat wave that killed our computers and wiped all of your information. I then asked how she had my number to call and she hung up.
