You can download PrivacyStar - blocks all these calls.  Free Service.  GooglePlay Store.  Also lets you file a complaint with the FTC automatically.

received 2 calls I did not answer so I don't know who called I never answer when I don't recognize the #

Please get this person to stop calling! They keep calling looking for a person who doesn't even live here but they say that the person used my number. I looked up the person who they are trying to contact in my local phone book and her number is nowhere near the same as mine! Getting very tired of this person calling every day at all times of the day even after I have told them to stop calling! I am on the do not call list and told them so. They just hang up, wait a few months and call again. This has been going on for over a year now!

Didn't want to answer when I saw the long-distance area code, but didn't know what it might be about... When I picked up, I heard a weird sound, almost like when you call someone and can hear the phone ringing, but only for a second. Then Chris Harris gets on asking about a payday loan, and I said "no, I don't have one," and he just goes "oh sorry about that." Hoping he doesn't continue to call... Harassing calls is the last thing I need right now!

This people are too much. They also told me about a payday loan. If someone owes them money they are welcomed to go harass them but wtf I don't have any payday scams. There must be something we can do. I thought about saving their numbers with a silent time but they call every few minutes with many different numbers. It's harassment.

me and my fiance have been having this issue for the past months time on her iphone, and it comes up as completely different area codes each time, sometimes they call and hang up instantly before we can touch it or we answer and get that Chris guy, next time we can catch it we will tell him that the number is being tracked by the authorities and they will find this person and have him arrested if he doesn't quit calling

This is a Pay Day Loans scammer.

Called twice within 2 minutes. I generally don't answer numbers with whom I am unfamiliar. I looked it up and after reading other's posts, I am going to block it.

This number along with many mixes of the last four digits continues to call, I get approximately 25 calls every 2 day's starting at 8 am. I have answered many times explained I do not want a loan, nor do I need a loan. I have even gotten I owe for one which I have never had one. I am on do not call list, I have requested to be removed from their  list also. Even blocked number then they just call from unknown or private. UGH

A guy called claiming he was Chris Harris from this number. It sounded automated..

I received call from this "Chris Harris" person this morning. Sounded almost automated... googled the number while he was talking and when I saw these posts, hung up. Weird.

Called my cell phone number.  Left no message.

Immediately file a complaint on the DNC registry against the company.

I have AT&T. Google has an cell phone application called "Mr. Number" that you can download to your cell. It is a free application & works really well. Any number on the block list is not able to get through. They are hung up on or left a voice mail.

Also on the Do not Call registry, but I'm still being harrassed by spammers...

I have been getting these calls for several days...all from different numbers. but this one calls the most and I can hardly understand the guy...I have caught once something about a pay day loan and he keeps asking for Ryan? I think. I have had several people answer for me and they all say the same thing you have the wrong # stop calling take me off your phone list. Usually when these calls start up and you tell them that they all stop. This guy will not no matter what you say. He has started calling under unknown? Great -today he just called for the second time asking for Ryan I said I don't know why you keep calling for him this is not his number and hasn't been for several years. He said do you want to know why I'm calling for him? cause I'm going to kill him I'm going to cut his head off. Ok I find this very disturbing. I have been on the do not disturb call list since 2011

Since reporting this number this morning, I have received 11 calls

I've never and will never have a payday loan.
Hangs up when asked what he's talkin bout.

This number called 14 times yesterday and so far today 5 times.  It always hangs up.

I have been getting calls all day from this # and 624-206-8485,630-869-1388,527-988-1294, 888-311-6369, 877-936-4955 630-869-1388,  888-980-1520!  They have been driving me nuts!  I don't have and never have had any student loans, and also on the do not call list.  Please make them stop~

If you do not have a SPAM feature, you can create a special Contact (called SPAM-Do Not Answer)
Assign a No Sound Ring Tone to it (I download one call "Silence")
Add all numbers that are spammers to this contact.
Now, when they call, your phone may buzz but not ring. It will also display "SPAM-Do Not Answer" just to remind you not to pickup.

You can also set your default ring to "Silence" and choose specific tones for known contacts

I hope this helps take some of the frustration away

There is no one at these numbers.  They are robot-initiated calls.  They may claim to be "payday loan" calls, but they are just harassment and invasion of privacy, plain and simple.  Probably tracking location and phone state, etc.  Why else would they keep calling when they know there is no money to be made?  Unfortunately, the phone carriers won't step in and trace down who is actually initiating the calls, for that, you have to go to the police.  Save your call logs.

Multiple calls per day from this number.  Usually there is no answer - one time it was a robo-voice trying to help with payday loans.

I got the same call he said something about a loan and I said what loan with an attitude and then we got dissconnected

This is definitely a scammer...Don't wire him any money. He will claim you owe a payday loan. But is not willing to give you his company's info and will not validate any debts..I think he has stolen my info and is trying to con me out of money. I already called the 2 companies I did owe and they told me I have a zero balance with them and also they told me that they have received several phone calls from previous customers about this same number and guy calling him relentlessly trying to get you to send money you don't even owe.
Beware, this is a fake. If you even feel you owe, don't send this wacko thief any money, contact your creditor.
DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE.

Guy called by the name of Chris Harris from Payday Help Center, located out of New York.  It had "scam" written all over it!   However, he wasn't interested in talking to me once he though I was crazy, etc. Yeah, I kinda' freaked him out and he hung up.  lol
