Two calls today. The first I answered and heard a hang-up, so they're using a dialer. The second I missed and there was a one-second voice mail. I added the number to my voice block list on the Sprint web site.

I had three calls from this number on my cell phone yesterday.  I do not answer calls when I don't recognize the number.  My landline and cell phone numbers are on the Do Not Call Registry so it really frustrates me when these type of calls get through, whether they are telemarketers or pollsters.

This is Independent Federated research...asking for my opinion.  I declined to participate.

I have received three (3) calls within the last 30 minutes.  I am sure this is not typical practices for a "Survey Company"

Stop calling!  I will not take political  or any other survery for that matter.

I have a special list on my cell phone (don't have a ground line) that has the ring tone of a barking dog.  I add all the telemarketers there, as well as other annoying groups.  Saves me having to pick up the phone and people who ask get a chuckle when I explain I'm not answering because it's a telemarketer.  Thank you those who chose to post here identifying the caller.

Easy shm-easy.  Whichever canidate calls our house/cell numbers the most doesn't get our support.  Simple.  It's a game.  Yeah, we keep score.

Received a phone call from them today 5:41 PM PDT. Didn't pickup, I'm glad I didn't pickup after seeing on this site it was political stuff.  I am also on the Do Not Call List, signed up in 2008 www.donotcall.gov/.  Why can't politicians and their staff respect that?

They call several times a day and the line is dead when I answer to cuss them out. Located out of Minneapolis.

This number keeps calling my cell phone, I am on the DNC list. I dont care if it's an election survey or not, its annoying and illegal. They never leave a message saying who they are, and the one time I picked up, nothing happened.

Called me ten times in the last week, never leaves a message. I refuse to answer...

If you would have listened to them you would know they aren't telemarketers. Also, if you knew anything about the do not call list you would know that it does not apply to political orgs. or phone surveyors. And to top it off, the referees don't use a whistle with a pea in it, they use a fox forty which is five times louder than the junky one you speak of.

It's just a survey. Relax. It's an election year.

They aren't telemarketers. Just some political survey asking if i was black or a woman and if i was voting for obama. Just the dems paranoid of racial and gender issues with the election.

Many of these calls are computor generated that also monitor when you available or not. What I learned is if you pick-up but do not respond and let it remain open until you hear that annoying tone, then hang up. This will usually confuse the system and delete you out of their list. Has work for me both on cell and land line to where I am getting hardly any calls now.

THIS GUY THAT CALLED WAS VERY PERSISTANT AND TALKED LOUDER AND NASTIER AS I WAS TRYING TO TELL HIM THAT I WAS NOT INTERESTED, HE JUST KEPT TALKING, I HUNG UP ON HIM, HE WANTED ME TO ANSWER SOME SURVEY QUESTIONS, I AM ON ALL THE DO NOT CALL LISTS AND HE STILL GOT THROUGH, WHAT IS THE USE OF SIGNING UP IF THEY CAN STILL CALL?

I'm so sick of these unwanted calls I could spit. I'm on every friggen do not call list there is, yet I get these retarded calls daily. If I wanted these calls, I'd have solicited for them. How do we make this crap stop???

I just got a call from this number. Whoever it was yelled something totally inaudible, and hung up on me.
I don't get it.

I've received 2 calls from this number in the last couple of hours.  I don't answer any number I don't recognize.

Just got a call 12:36 this afternoon.  I don't live anywhere near or have ever received calls from a 612 area code before.  (I live up and down and east coast)    The caller did not leave a message- and I don't pick up phone numbers I don't recognize.... but I often check them out afterwards.  Looks like it's a good thing I didn't pick up the phone.  Here's hoping the 'number' doesn't call back.

Somebody from this number called and left a voice mail . . . he talked slow and low and started by mumbling, then "Pedophile . . . WHAT!  Stupid a**!"  And then hung up.  Don't pick up from this number!

This call freaked me out.  The caller left a voice mail on my line talking slow and low -- something about a "pedophile . . . WHAT!  Stupid a**!"

Called my cell 5 times within a few hours...didn't answer the phone.  I am on the do no call registry...what a joke that is!

I do not wish to receive calls on my cell phone...in one day called by phone 5 times within a 5 hour timespan.

I also received a call from this number, I do not answer 800 numbers especially since they can not leave a message.

Has called three times today on my cell phone...which is RARELY given out and known to only a handful of people.

I hate unsolicited callers.
