Danny calls four to five times a day, first from his land line 763-342-5795 and then from his cell 612-850-5036 never leaves a message just call to pester you over and and over five days a week. Almost an office joke to see how many time he will call in a day. I would never do business with anybody or any company that uses these practices. Danny get a clue stop this you lame pest!

It's only been 4 hours and I just got another call from this number with no message left. Still practicing bad sales manners I see. The past 4 years must not have brought too many changes to his sales tactics.

Ha ha, after Googling this number today I see that I left a reply to this almost 4 years ago to the day. Seems like the calls may be starting again, but I only received one so far (that I know of). No message was left

Got a call from this number two days ago.  Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.  Caller left no message.  Interesting that people have been getting calls from this number for nearly 4 years.  Like SC, I also work in IT and good communication is critical in this line of work. It should be everything in sales. Even if this service was something I was looking for they would not get my business because of the lack of communication. Salespeople everywhere, take note and learn.

It's funny that I found this after googling Daniel Quam 6128505036, years after this thread was started.

Obviously, he is still at it.

In my case, he just calls over and over and never leaves a message.

I have no idea why anyone would think this is a good sales tactic.  Never in a million years would I buy something from someone who does this.  It is rude and it is discourteous.

I know sales is hard.  But I work in IT, which is also hard, by the way.  We get an endless stream of calls from salespeople, and if we answered every one of them, we would never get any work done.  But I do try to call the courteous ones back if they have something that interests me.  A salesperson who never leaves a message is guaranteed to never get a callback from me.  Why is it so difficult to leave a name, a brief description of the business, and maybe a web address to go to?

Keep getting calls from this bozo. DANIEL QUAM is what is listed in caller ID.  He NEVER leaves a message. Just calls, lets it ring twice, and hangs up. Freakin' nuisance!

Dan called me today.  Same exact message.  Tries to trick you into calling him back.  I don't know if he is associated with digitiliti or not, but he does need to learn some phone skills.

When I checked into the marketplace to verify solutions for our well known company one thing that impressed me was the consistent response regarding what a great person Danny Quam was and I that should work with him.  

Some of the responses in these messages are way out of line like the person who list his Dan?s home phone and address and didn?t leave his own name.  Seems like the kettle calling the frying pan black.  That was way out of line. Others who call Dan lazy should look in the mirror since they didn?t take the time to know him?like the person who said he regrets a face to face meeting.  Who?s really the lazy ones?

Give me a break and grow up yourselves.

Dan reputation is one of never being never rude or offensive in person.

For Heaven?s sake, give a sales guy a break.

It?s obvious you really don?t know Danny.  I?m looking forward to doing business with him due to his knowledge and being a true customer advocate.  He?s a great person to deal with and a breath of fresh air in sales!

To be honest, you need to stop slandering Dan's character.  Dan help me get a job at a time when my family needed help.  He's not lazy and often works 12 hours days. A cold call is not the same as knowing somebody.  Give him a chance and you'll see what I mean.

Dan is one of the best people in the IT industry.  He deals with thousands of customers varying from the smallest to largest accounts.  He provides top rated information at no cost and usually is a few years ahead of the market.  Often, what he tells you at no cost today you would pay Gartner in 2 years to find out. If you want to save money and get the best solutions I would encourage you to give Dan a chance.

Dan helps people out of kindness find jobs when they're looking or out of work ranging from CIOs, Dir, managers and techinal jobs. This is due to his large network of connections.

He's also one of the hardest working and honest person I've met.  

Please be fair to his hard earned and good reputation...sales is a hard job! A cold call if different then once you talk to Dan. Nobody is perfect.

Dan will protect the customers interest and be your advocate while keeping venders in check.  He is repectful of your time and always asks if it's ok to talk or should he call you back (one you make the intial conversation with him).  He always provides an out when you talk with him.  

Give him a try, he's one of the nations best.

I received the exact same call today and four other times in the past. I sent an mail to Sales@digitiliti.com and told them we are not interested. I received an email back immediately that I will not be contacted again. We will see.........

If you're so anxious to speak with us, why leave such a generic response in a thread of so many people saying they have no interest in speaking to someone who doesn't leave a proper voicemail? Cold calls are one thing, but literally leaving just a name and number isn't the best way to get people to call you back.

Same deal, called yesterday (4/21/09). With the number of junk sales calls people get, who would really expect a phone call by just saying a name and leaving a number? We had a Digitiliti account previously that was cancelled, so I could understand if that's what the call is about. But how hard would it be to say "Hi, this is Dan at Digitiliti. I'd like to speak to you about our services. Please call me back at 612-850-5036".

Maybe it's a good tactic though because I'm almost interested to call him back and ask that exact question.

He didn't try to sell me anything, nor was he rude, but I am not Brian and it seems like a legitimate mistake.

I got all the same calls. Even when you tell him not interested. I do not want to migrate my data anywhere. He calls back in six days or six months. Later with a different company and a different product. They were not even worth looking at. I ended up keying in "Do not answer" on his phone number on both my desk phone and cell phone.

I was foolish enough to listen to this guy and meet him in person.  Now he won't leave me or my company alone.  A warning to all. DO NOT talk to this person if you want peace in you life.  I've asked him to stop calling and it doesn't work.

I just got the same message: lazy, generic and without emotion. I googled the number and saw this.

same here - called at 2:05pm 10-28-08 msg said "Marc, Dan - 612-850-5036". wtf --

Same message here with same caller ID info.  Odd thing is that I know Danny Quam, and he knows me pretty well, and for him, if it is really him, to leave a message like this is very odd.
