I called back from a voip phone 2 min later. The message says , This number is no longer in service and in french as well. They are spoofing this number . Nowadays you can take a false number.
What is the truth anymore??

google mapped the #...looks like someone is calling from a rundown shack in Ontario. I think I'll call him/her back and tell them to get a REAL job.

Same credit scam. The number has a Ottawa Ontario area code but likely "spoofed" for a Canadian audience

If you try to call it back, you get a 'not in service' message from the phone company (I assume). So the phone # is being 'spoofed' or faked.

Just one more annoying scammer -- If U answer U get a recorded msg in male american accent to "Be Debt-Free in blah..blah...blah", with the now-boring "Press 1 if..., Press 2 if..." routine. Just Delete or Call Block this one. Oh, it Call Displays as Ontario but the number is for BC, so stay aware out there...

Telemarketer scamming for "lower credit card interest". Hung up and call blocked the number.
