yeah I'm getting the same....my cell says TD Bank is calling but the number is unknown....wtf?!?!??

I got two calls from this number today.  The first at 7h03pm.  Called back and like many others, got the "number is not in service" message.  Got another call at 7h51pm.  Answered it and it was Penny Collenette's campaign asking for my vote.  
From what I've read above, sounds like this number is being used by different services at different times.  This info will probably not help anyone looking to find out who's calling them after the election as I'm guessing the number will probably be taken over some other service afterwards.

I received a call from this number Oct. 12, 2007. Same result: I answered it and there was nothing on the line. I called back and got a 'not in service' message.

I don't get it... the number keeps calling my friends phone and it beeps at us.  We know its not a fax number.  We just finished watching the movie One Missed Call and are pretty freaked out!!!!!  I JUST DONT GET IT.........

I use Skype and this is the number that the phone calls come through as when I dial a number in Ottawa. It's a number that Rogers/Fido uses to route local calls made by the internet.

one after another exactly 1 minute apart when i called it back of course it was a not in serive message and when i answered the 11th call  it was a werid beeping sound... what am i suppose to thynk heere?

this number called us on October 22, at 9:15 pm. I missed the call and they never left a message. Calling the # back we get 'not in service'

this was a company trying to sell me a DIET DRINK!

Just received a call & the lady said she was conducting a survey for TD bank. After asking my husband if he had been in a branch recently, he refused to conduct the survey.

PESTS! This number has been popping up twice a day now for the last week. Whoever they are, they never leave a message.

Called the home and when answered it sounded like someone was listening and then hung up

that you can not return calls too. It is most likely used by many outfits
wanting it to appear that the call is local. It it used by everyone including Collection Agencies such as IQOR or the former CBCL; Canadian Bonded Credits Ltd. It's a faked number or spoofed number from Canadian Bonded Credit in Toronto ON. or the now called IQOR attempting to appear local to ottawa residents. Don't even call the number back, you will only hear that "this number is not in service", But it is in service! When I dialed *57, It said; "The number has been traced". So everyone should do this if you get a call from this number. So, GET IT ON YOUR CALL TRACE LISTS with your local Phone Company.

Another New Note For Today: 877-503-2115 called at 5:10 PM today.
One hour later I get this call from IQOR (877-503-2115).
First 613-232-7437 called at 4:10 PM
then 877-503-2115 called at 5:10 PM
Both calles were traced!!! It's Them!!! Who else?

Its someone calling from skype... Got a call I was my sister from overseas

I got a call at 2:33PM did not leave a message and out of service when i called back, could this be Skypee???

Called me today around 1pm, actually left a voicemail, all it was, was scratchy noise, so the fax theory could be the case.

its a Skype number. i get a lot of Skype calls from people, and this number shows up so often i just saved it as Skype in my phone. I could be anyone trying to use VOIP, because when they call from the internet it has to go through a local number so it is given one that is not assigned, i think. either way, i get Skype calls from this number along with a few other 613 numbers, as well as other random numbers like 0000123456, haha.

I received a message from this number today, I answred and it was Scotia Bank saying that I have something wrong with my account... So, I guess this number belongs to them.

Have got multiples calls on my office phone from this number, which is obviously a fax. How do I make it stop besides checking call display and hanging up.

We're having the same problem - for over a week now, although not as frequently as you got it. Hope they piss off soon.

We've been having this number call our house for about 24h hours now.  At supper time yesterday, it called for the first time, and called about every five minutes after that, making that fax sound.  At first, we thought it was someone that was just really incompetent with fax machines, so we decided to unplug the phone for the night.  When we tried calling back, it was the obvious no service message.  Around noon today, when we plugged the phone again, I checked the messages, and that number had called us 24 times during the night!!!  24 TIMES!!!  It started calling again around 6 o'clock today, while we were having supper.  My mother called bell to ask about these calls, and all they said was that it wasn't a bell number, so they couldn't do much about it, except offer to block that number for 7$ a month.  We need to pay bell to keep that number from spamming us.  This is ridiculous.  And even if it was a con artist, how could this even be profitable??  I mean, it's not like they're the ones who are getting the 7$/month pay...  About every five minutes still, we get a call.  Same thing, same number, same fax sound.

Caller from 613-232-7437 said they were from OnSat calling on behalf of Bell Satellite, but then preceded to ask me if I had cable Tv or Bell Satellite..  I said, well if you are calling here on their behalf then shouldn't you know !!  I was then asked if I knew anyone, friends or family to refer to Bells services.  I said "NO", then they hung up...

Scam artists!!

Relax everyone! I have noticed this number 613 232-7437 seems to be the number that often gets posted on caller ID equipment when people call in from overseas. For whatever reason the local routing carrier in Ottawa, whoever that may be, assigns this number as the calling number, however it is a bogus number. I don't think anything can be done about it, but if it really bothers you you might try calling your telephone service provider and have them investigate this.

This is a Skype landline originating in the Ottawa area.  Anyone world-wide placing a call in the Ottawa area could go out on this line.

I received a call from this number Jan. 27, 2010. Same result: I answered it and there was nothing on the line.

Something wrong with your account?  A likely story.  More likely somebody trying to phish you via Skype phone so the call's untraceable.

I received this number calling me at 11:30 p.m.

when I went to call it the next day...it said that number has been disconnected....

Now I don't believe anyone will call to tell me why this happened......just wanted to report it

I got a call from the same number. It was an international call from a friend I know and seems to me as the connection comes through this number.
