Scam artist.  Told me I had a problem with Microsoft and that my computer was at risk.  When I laughed and told them I knew the scam the guy started swearing at me.  Pretty aggressive.

That's great advice Julie. Nobody should automatically agree to answer questions/surveys over the telephone. Find out who the survey company is; say no thanks; hang up - don't answer random questions people. If you do agree to a telephone survey, then pay attention to what types of questions are being asked. Do they seem to be fishing for personal information about you? Or just hang up like Julie did!

i got a call from 6132335566. I didnot answer and I tryed calling back. The number was not in service.

I have search thru google and it seems its some kind of a fitness research institude located at somerset st in ottawa..and they call household to have them participate on surveys like gas, fitness and so on. I got a miss call from them as well.but when i tried calling them no response.
What i wrote above is my thinking after what i read on the site and i
didnt speak to the person who called me.

Company called, wanted me to confirm my date of birth before telling me what the call was about

Get the call in early morning, tried to call back many times as I was expecting some calls, but the message appears "authorization restricted". Very frustrating!

Just got a call, didn't show any number just the word NODID .They want to know about my mortgage that they can give me a better one. I told him that I live in a shack in the woods and don't have one then told him to check the DNCL and do not call me anymore. He hung up (wonder why ?).

This company claimed that there was something wrong with my computer. They said they were from Microsoft. I would think that they were really from Microsoft you would not come out no id.

Call Display just showed NODID with 91528 underneath... voice mail left but immediate hang up

Technology has come a long way - and if the politicians really have concern for consumers (which I doubt) - they will insist that all calls placed must show caller ID with name and number... and all service carriers cannot charge extra for the feature

tired of rushing to phone in case important call. No one answers. This can be very frustrating.

They call me two time today and I played with the guys. First he tell me I had problem with my computer. I said. hoooo noooooooo. Then I said help me please. He told me to go on google and type something. Witch I did not do. He said what you see, I said nothing and he started to tell me I'm mother***** and go **** myself.

Call received from "NODID" unknown number.  Man with accent ( East Indian) asked to speak to the woman of the house and stated he was doing a "Lifestyles Survey"  Asked if working, retired etc.  Proceeded to ask what income bracket I was in and investment amount I had.  When I told him he passed the phone onto another person that said there would be ano obligation call the next day of how to better invest money so it isn't affected by the market slumps.  ( ya right).  I replied that I just met with my financial advisor yesterday- CLICK.

NODID...this is fraud,,,they are asking about your computer, to get into it! they whant your personnel information....do not give information to these people!
in 2 days they called 8 times whit differents numbers! these calls are made out of this country!
do not answer there questionnaire!

I got the same call but from a lady. She was getting rude and upset because I would not do what she wanted to my computer. It was also a foreign accent (India sounding). She mentioned that it was for my benefit. When she called she asked for both my husband and I, but only one of us is registered as the purchaser of this computer. BE VERY CAREFULL

depuis 1 semaine NODID appel plus de 4 fois par jour, toujours avec des # de tel différent ... par contre ça racroche tout le temps ... je n'ai jamais entendu la voix de personne .... lorsqu'on rappel au # ça dit ''hors service'' y a t'il un moyen de bloquer ces # ... c'est vraiment achalant ....

they called me 20 times in 3 days driving my 75 year old mother crazy

Comme vous, mais j'ai pas décroché, d'autant que l'afficheur m'indiquait le: 1-443-727-6446 sous le nom de nodid. le code régional 443 c'est Baltimore aux USA. Je n'ai absolument aucun contact à Baltimore, ni même aux États-unis et j'ai aussi l'habitude de filtrer mes appels.
Donc, si j'ai bien compris, c'est une arnaque !?! Faudrait en parler à des journalistes d'enquêtes, c'est le genre de sujet qui les intéressent ! J'vois pas d'autres recours. En attendant, ne prenez pas l'appel...

J'ai reçu 4 appels avec tous des numéros différents. Le dernier numéro indiquait 593-834-7945. Jamais aucun message! Comment se débarrasser d'eux et peut-on traquer l'appel pour déposer une plainte?

Received a call today with 'NODID' as the caller ID.  No number shows. The man was doing a survey and when I told him to remove me from his caller list he said 'why' and I told him that I was on the 'do not call list' and he said 'that is not my job' and hung up.  Yeah it IS your job idiot.  I am not rude to these people as we all need to make money and most are pleasant when I ask them to remove my name but this one was obnoxious, sounded of South Asian descent so not sure where he was calling from, the line was clear so it could still be in Canada.  I can't block this number on my phone as there are no numbers listed.  How can we block these idiots from calling again!?

The guy called and asked for me by name and said he was victor. I said from where and he hung up.

moi aussi j ai recu un appel l'afficheur marquait NODID, c pas la premiere fois mais aujourd'hui cj la première fois que la personne (un homme) parlait, il parle en anglais et me disait que mon ordinateur était infecté, je lui ai dit que je comprenais pas l anglais de parler plus lentement, mais j arrivais pas à savoir la suite apres "your computer is infected..." j ai raccroché... c quoi  ce truc de fou ....
